I bought these repellent pouches to place around my garage, storage shelves, and backyard areas where I occasionally noticed mice and squirrels. The peppermint scent is noticeable when first opening the bag, but it smells cleaner and less harsh than using chemical sprays or traps. I liked being able to place the pouches in corners and near entry points without much setup. I also put a few near flower pots and around the garage door because squirrels sometimes dig around outside. So far the area seems calmer, and I have noticed fewer signs of small pests near the spots where I placed the pouches. Since I have pets around the house, I preferred trying something more natural instead of stronger chemicals. The scent does fade gradually over time outdoors, especially after humid or rainy weather, so replacing them regularly seems important. I got these peppermint oil repellent pouches for my garage and basement where I kept seeing mouse droppings. The smell is strong but natural, not like harsh chemicals. Just hung them around the corners and near the doors. After a few days, I noticed no new droppings and the mice seem to have moved on. Works on spiders and squirrels too. I started using these after hearing scratching and little mouse noises in the garage at night. I didn’t want to deal with traps everywhere, so I placed a few pouches near the shelves, tool boxes, and by the garage door. The peppermint smell is noticeable at first but not overwhelming, and it made the space smell cleaner instead of chemical-heavy. After about a week, the noises became much less frequent.
