Ants are usually my greatest concern in and out of the house. Let an ant colony get established, and you'll have a gazillion of them in no time. Outdoors, I usually leave them alone as they are beneficial to the environment. However, nuisance ants that excavate under my pavers causing them to sink, I usually put out ant bait so that they take the bait back to the queen and kill the colony. But there are cons to using ant bait outdoors- storms, takes time, animals ingesting, unsightly bait trap etc. Being an advocate for the environment, I try to stay away from harmful chemicals. So I thought I'd give this a try. It was super easy to use and reuse and seems effective. It may not kill the queen but its effects on the exposed ants is almost immediate. If I keep spraying their excavation sites and paths, they will move on...or die. As a broad spectrum bug killer, this is what I like about this product: +Environmentally friendly, not a harmful chemical +Pleasant clove odor +Easy to mix and use +Effective +Can be used indoors and is much preferred over spraying of pyrethroids +Safe around pets/animals I highly recommend this product for pest control as an alternative to cancer causing chemicals. NOTE: Because most ants outdoors are beneficial to the environment, it is best to leave them alone to do their thing. Many types of ants help control pest populations. They prey on live insects, some of which are more of a nuisance than the ants themselves. Wipe out all your ants, and an infestation of an even worse pest could follow. Update : 12/26/2023 My original rating was 5 Stars. Changing it to 3 stars today. When we applied this spray on to our dog and his surroundings, he was less itchy for few days but the fleas were still there, they were not dying may be flying away. to our surprise after more than a week's use, we found more fleas on him than before. I am sorry and disappointed to say that this product although may have been natural and toxic free but did not work for the purpose I ordered. None of the other products I ordered worked. Tip: We bought fine combs and kept combing our dog and with the comb have a big scotch/packaging tape ready to stick the flea to it, once found on the comb. This was a long and tedious process but this is the only thing that worked. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I ordered it primarily for taking care of fleas on our GSD. Since it is made of natural ingredients and pest safe, we sprayed it on our dog for few days and he is fleas free now. I haven't used it on or for other bugs but will try and update this review. I am skeptical about it killing spiders and roaches on contact. Nevertheless, it is a good quality product that is human and pest safe and worth trying. It sure helped for our flea problem. 5 stars.

Did not resolve my ant problem

Now, it's still early days yet, but when I poured this pest solution outside my back sliding glass door the large train of ants marching into a hole that leads into the foundation of the house just disappeared, as if by magic. Sure, the past few days I've seen stragglers here or there, but no more massive migrations, instantly achieving what other products take days to get to, which is nice. Oh, and the solution smells nice too, and reminds me of the clove cigarettes my neighbor sometimes smokes, minus the smoky part. That said, it's not too heavy or overly powerful of.a scent even in concentrated form, and even less once the solution has been diluted and mixed up. Given the mildness of the scent, along with its nontoxic nature, ] I went ahead and poured a line of this around the sink area on the ground in hopes it acts like a barrier as I've seen a few crawlies come out of the sink area recently with the warm weather and all, but so far I haven't seen any since laying this down this product. Could be a coincidence because it's not like we're overrun here, but I'll report back if anything changes.

It's that time of year again...fruit flies around the sink. I got this hoping that it would work instead of using the harsher chemicals that my husband likes to spray ALL over the house. The first time I used it, I thought wow, I think it worked. I noticed that it knocked them down and there were dead ones all around. I woke up the next day and they were back-ugh. I went at it again and saw that there were more laying on the counters. The next day, there were a lot less. I did it one more time the next day along with a fly stick and they are completely gone in just a few days. I have never been able to get rid of fruit flies this fast and to be honest, there really aren't that many of them on the fly stick. I'm pretty sure that it worked due to never being able to get rid of them this fast in all the years that they have popped up. It comes in a bottle, and you will need a separate bottle to mix it with water to dilute it down. It can be used both inside and outside. If you use it outside, the ratio is different than the inside. Be sure to read the directions to get the correct measurements.

I have a terrible ant problem both inside and outside the home. Since I am not a fan of using harsh chemicals not only for the hubs and I but for our pets as well. Whenever possible, I try to use safe, all natural products. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. I didn't have much hope for this product but I have to say I think it might be working. I sprayed around the window and door where I get the most ant traffic during a time when it happens most frequently. I can't say I didn't have any ants come into my home but I didn't have the amount I usually get. I saw a great reduction. I like that this does not contain harsh chemicals so it's safe to use around my pets. I don't use it in the living room where my parrots are but I use it in the kitchen with much success. This product is a little expensive but compare it to how much product you can make and I think it's worth the price. I am very pleased and will continue to use this product, especially during the times I know I'll be dealing with ants trying to get in when the weather starts turning cold.

I really wanted to like this product especially because it uses natural ingredients and safe for the environment but it’s simply not effective. I took it out to the backyard where I have a little invasion of ants. I shook the bottle as instructed and sprayed at a single ant to test it out. He did a couple of turns and flips but then just looked at me, laughed and walked away unfazed… Okay maybe that was just a fluke and this guy is a beast so I sprayed some of his other friends that came out to see what happened yup same result. A passer by flying bug landed on the floor next to them and so I thought heck why not test it on it too. Well he just scoffed and flew away annoyed. Yeah I can’t even imagine spraying this on big water bugs … One good thing about the spray is the smell almost reminds me of essential oils.
