I got this pest spray to use on my kitchen compost bin to deter gnats and any ants that may be crawling in my house. It is made of natural plant-based oils that I feel comfortable using around the kitchen area. It has a nice minty scent that helps to keep my house smelling great! I tested a couple of spots outside my home between the brick and foundation where ants are always crawling around. After a couple of sprays in the target area, I see them stumble and wobbling around and eventually drop on the ground and die off. Farther away, ants previously heading in the direction of their hiding spot toward the treated area, literally turn around and go the other direction! However, since this is made of natural formula, after a week or so and with days of rain, the ants are back in the treated spots. Realistically with the 16oz bottle, it is probably not practical to use outdoors to treat a large area and more useful indoors for spot treatments around the home. So far, this has worked well to keep the gnats and ants away inside my house. ... show more

Every spring, my house is infested with ants. No matter what I do, they find their way into the house, and it takes a minute to get rid of them, so I decided to give this spray a try. It works! On the first try! To me, that was so surprising. Typically, most of these products are not that effective; this one achieved the desired effects right away. All I had to do was spray the regular ant "route," and they were gone the next day. Quick and easy. The solution is not greasy and dries quickly. Appears to be safe to use on most surfaces, though it is recommended to try it on a small piece. I applied it to both tile and laminate, and it was fine. This pest control spray was easy to use and worked well for treating problem areas around the house. The spray bottle provides good coverage, and I liked that it can be used both indoors and outdoors. It has a milder scent than many traditional pest sprays, which was a plus. This isn't a cure for a pest problem, so it's important to set expectations. Probably because it is made with more natural ingredients, but as a result, there is an effectiveness trade off. Despite being more natural, I'd still avoid getting it on your skin. It contains essential oils and other ingredients that can be irritating. I recommend wearing gloves, and if you have sensitive skin or pets, it's worth reviewing the ingredient list and following the label directions carefully before use. The product is labeled as safe around pets and family when used as directed, but I would still use reasonable caution until the spray has dried. It also helps to ventilate the area while spraying. I tried another NatureStop spray and the scent on this one is noticeably milder than the previous spray I tried. I still detect some clove and other essential oils, but they're much less pronounced, making this one more pleasant to use indoors. The other one was a bit overpowering. The scent doesn't seem to change effectiveness one way or the other. As for effectiveness, if you spray insects directly, it does kill them on contact. As a residual deterrent around baseboards and entry points, though, I had mixed results. It seems to reduce activity for a while, but it doesn't keep pests away for long. They simply find another way in and are back crossing previously sprayed areas within about a week. Overall, I think this product can help manage a pest problem with repeated applications, but it isn't a permanent solution. If you don't mind reapplying it regularly and prefer a plant-based alternative to harsher pesticides,at a reasonable price, it's an ok option. This is really really effective. I’ve tried so many other sprays and this kills flying insects; as I live in warm climate, and it’s always some bug I’ve never seen before…. this does the trick; kills them instantly. I also have a really nice garden and it attracts ants; this takes care of it. My plants are doing much better, I actually ordered two more. Unfortunately, I just need to add another comment. It is very effective for sure but be very careful. I introvertedly got some on my skin and I had a really bad breakout , so be careful not to drop any of the liquid on your skin. it may cause you to break out. I had red blotches. They’re fading away now just thought I would add this for precaution! ... show more

This NatureStop Pest Control Spray has become my go-to solution for keeping bugs out of the house. The mint scent is a huge plus — it’s fresh, clean, and actually pleasant rather than the harsh chemical smell you get from most sprays. It leaves rooms smelling nice while doing its job. I’ve used it both indoors and outdoors with excellent results. A few sprays around entry points, windows, baseboards, kitchen counters, and garage doors have noticeably reduced ant, spider, and other common household pest activity.     • Actually works for ants
I was having an issue with ants coming around after I've fed my dogs outside, so I wanted to try to find a new spray to use to keep them at bay and I'm happy with how this spray has helped so far. I sprayed around the outside of my house and made a square barrier around the space my dogs' food is (on concrete) and i can say that no ants have dared to cross that barrier. The spray is also pretty much odorless as well. I would say it is safe to use near pets, in small concentration. I've personally only used it against ants, but I'm sure it would also be effective against other pests as well. Would recommend. ... show more
