The media could not be loaded. I am extremely pleased with the Persilux Custom Size 100% Blackout Roller Shade. The custom sizing is spot-on, and they fit the frame of my back door perfectly. Installation was straightforward, and the quality of the materials is impressive. The shade is sturdy and well-made, giving my room a clean, sleek look. I could have gotten the shade a bit wider but I wanted an inside-the-frame fit so that I could easily let the shade up and down to open my back door, which has a huge window in it. I can let the shade all the way up and you can't tell anything has been installed. The shade also helps with insulation, keeping the room cooler during the day, which is a nice bonus. If you’re looking for high-quality blackout shades that fit perfectly and do the job right, I highly recommend these. They are worth every penny! The company also has excellent customer-service via email communication.

These blackout shades are actually quite nice for the price. I mounted on September 6, 2021. They block out almost all the light pouring into my bedroom. See picture showing view from outside of bedroom looking in. Notice how the bedroom is dark compared to the bright light coming into the bathroom to the right. Then see photo showing how bright my bedroom is without blackout shades. As is the trend with all blackout shades, the lateral sides don’t go all the way to the edge of the window, resulting in a tiny bit of light peaking through. But it’s seriously minimal. Coupled with blackout curtains over these blackout shades, I would have complete darkness in my room. The curtains are not necessary at all, but it’s an option. I got a pair of the WHITE 26” inch and mounted them inside window frame. Just make sure you DO NOT mount with the supplied screws. They are really bad quality because if you plan on removing hardware to readjust shades, the screws won’t want to work with the screwdriver as it will start producing magnet shavings when turning screwdriver. In the end the screws won’t unscrew. Trust me on this one, if you can use your own good quality screws please do so or don’t tighten them too hard in case you need to remove. The material in front has a nice texture and should be easy to wipe clean if needed. The back is plain white blackout paper, I suppose. I would recommend as an affordable option :) It’s counterpart, the light filtering roller shade also by Persilux that I used in my living room, instead, are absolutely stunning. I definitely love them more than the blackout shades in the bedroom. But these blackout shades look good and do the job beautifully. I’m happy with them. 4.5 stars because the screws were bad quality and because one of the shades came with a very tiny rip on the back side paper so when looking at it up front, there’s a minuscule peak of sun coming in. I will cover it with white tape and should be solved, but wish I didn’t have to do that with brand new shades, you know.

I purchased a set of these roller shades twice for two sets of windows, and they work wonderfully. I like that the shades are a bit texturized, so they feel less...sterile? in my home. I like pairing them with sheer curtains to add a bit more coziness to my space. I like that these, unlike some other shades I was considering, have a pull chain. My windows are really high, so this was essential for me. Quick tip--be very mindful when measuring. I ended up ordering an inch or two smaller than what my window actually measured to make space for the brackets. I had to return my first set because it was too big. Once I figured out the issue and ordered the smaller size, everything was perfect. I've had my first set for about seven months now, and they are holding up very well.

You will not be disappointed! Shade is stylish and neutral color matches my grey and white kitchen. I have tile inside frame of window half way up. Wanted a shade that would give complete privacy and this shade did the trick! The material and construction is high quality. Easy installation. Best of all was speed in which customer service responds. They went above and beyond confirming measurements and answering my questions before producing custom size. Paid $179 at the time. Purchased coffee color. Would highly reccommend!

Custom ordered a large one to cover a large sliding door in our roof that lets in too much light. Product shipped pretty fast but showed up missing all of the brackets inserts & hardware, probably not their fault the package broke open on the end. I let them know they did ship new hardware but no chain, then tried to install and realized the hardware was incorrect so they had to send the correct stuff with a chain. Finally got it and install went pretty smooth. Still lets lots of light in even when closed (outside mount) would be better if the brackets kept the roll closer to the wall as it let in less light. All in all it works, probably give it 4 stars if they didn’t screw up and send the wrong hardware
