    • Quality but Kind of a Silly Idea

This is one of those purchases I knew was going to be a bad choice. First let me be clear. This product works EXACTLY as described. It lays down easily. I've had excellent coverage from a single pass. It takes just long enough to dry that you can wipe it off the nail if you miss but not so long that it's irritating and it peels up well. Which is why I have to give it a decent rating despite it being useless to me. It does what it was designed to do well. It's just that what it was designed to do is kind of silly. Essentially, if I could paint my flesh without it getting on my nail. I would be able to paint my nail without getting it on my flesh. I bought this anyway thinking it would still be only one or two coats of the latex I needed to do well vs the the four or six passes on the polish. Unfortunately due to my tremor I still can't get the line clean. If it's just about effort this technique might still might work out for you. Additionally it doesn't work out well for gel polish. The gel is a little more flexible so when you peel up the latex mask instead of tearing off where the latex starts it can end up peeling the polish completely off. ... show more

I am a father of a 3 year old who enjoys painting nails this allows me to make it easier for her to paint my toe nails and her finger nails with out a huge mess. It allows her to paint the nail and it helps the nails look more well done.

I was excited to try this liquid latex to make painting my nails cleaner and easier, but it’s a bit trickier than I expected. It applies kind of unevenly and takes a while to dry fully, which can slow down the process. Peeling it off is also a little messy, especially if it gets too thin in spots where it catches onto the nail polish! That said, it does help catch polish mistakes around the edges, so it does the job —it just takes some patience and practice to get the hang of it.
