Despite a key advertising point of a “TRAVEL LOCK” to “hold the power switch in the off position for travel” - there was no travel lock to prevent accidentally turning the shaver on during transport. Disappointing. Maybe I received a model that is missing that feature. Otherwise a useful small shaver that will be convenient to have in a travel bag or in the glove compartment. The USB charging will be good for in auto use. The build feels solid - mainly plastic with metal for the foil and part of the blade assembly. The fit is neat so the external appearance is good. A bit tight to removed the shave foil section for cleaning - no levers to release so it will take careful application of pressure to remove the plastic housing without damage

This shaver is identical to the UNO and Gamma+ it works well as long as your stubble is very short. Probably need to shave at least every other day if you don’t want to use any other clippers to get it short before using this. For the price compared to the other models it’s identical to, this one seems to be the better deal!

I found that this razor was very poor at cutting my beard. I really had to work it back and forth over the same areas because of how much it left behind (even though I could hear that it was cutting something). In addition, I could not remove the blade cover so that I could clean the unit. No matter how hard I pressed on the release tabs, nothing moved. I gave up and sent the unit back for refund.

This is a fairly nice compact, cordless shaver from Perry Ellis. It comes with a cover, a cleaning brush, and a charging cable in addition to the shaver itself. I tried it out and it does deliver a decently close shave, although I had to run it over each area I was shaving on my face several times both with and against the grain. Had to do that in order to get the shaver to cut the hair close enough to make it smooth. So it won't get it perfect on the 1st or even 3rd try, but keep going and it'll deliver good results. Now, on to the real spoiler, the charging cable. They had a chance to make a winner with this little compact shaver but ruined it by making the charging cable proprietary. It's a weird two prong plug on the bottom of the shaver that you plug the included cable in to, and then you have to plug that into a USB power brick. Minus a star for that my dude. Why not just make it a modern USB C port on the bottom or even on the side? It's smaller! Big miss there. And because of that, I cannot recommend this.

Let's start with the basics: This is a portable foil shaver that is meant only for touch ups. That means at 5pm, to trim your 5 o'clock shadow, or to get something you missed in the morning shave when you look in the mirror at work. That's it. It's not intended for a full shave, and if you think it will work for that, you're gonna be very frustrated. So how good is it for touch ups? Not bad. I tried it on a 5 o'clock shadow to see how it went, and it STILl took a few passes to get everything trimmed, but it did get the job done without undue irritation. It's pretty trivial to use: There's only one control, an on/off slider on the side. There's no travel lock (kind of unfortunate for a shaver that's meant to be pocketable), but the slider is better than an easily pushed button if you do put it in your pocket. To clean it, the foil pulls off the top of the shaver--you just pull it off. I found it took more effort than I expected to get it off, and it's not held in place by anything more than compression--so it may get loose over time. . There's also a matching cap for the top of the shaver to protect the head when it's in your pocket (or luggage). The run time on a full charge (120 minutes) is far more than you'd need for any normal use case. Specifics of the foil shaver: ** Rechargable cordless mini-shaver (model PM203) ** 120 minutes charge gives about 120 minutes run time ** USB charging cable (USB-C connection) On the whole, this is suited to a specific purpose, which is use against modest beard growth. I would not recommend this for day-to-day use, nor as your only shaver when traveling. It's just not powerful enough or suited for such purposes. But if you need a little foil shaver for touch ups, this gets the job done. And it is small enough to fit in your pocket. Pros: ** Cute and portable ** Good battery life ** Standard USB-C charging port Cons: ** Not that powerful ** No LCD readout of charge ** Head difficult to pull off for cleaning ** No idea where/if you can buy replacement cutting heads or foils
