Update: What I liked was how comfortable it was to lay on. I also like that the gel memory foam mattress is enclosed in a nice cover. Being that it’s only 3” deep, it doesn’t give much support. We also have a king size memory foam Ghost bed (bed in a box) which is about 8 inches thick and it’s still supporting us after about 5 years. I can set a glass of water in the middle of the bed and if I get out of bed, it doesn’t move. If someone is sleeping in the bed with you, you can’t feel them moving or if they get up. I needed this twin gel memory foam mattress due to my having cancer and having weird sleeping patterns so as not to disturb my husband. Also I have back pain due to Osteoporosis. After 2 years, this gel memory foam mattress sinks in and it’s hard to get out of bed. It gives me no support at all now. Some may like it but it’s not good if you have back problems. ... show more

This is a good topper and it does add comfort and make the bed seem softer- BUT, it slides in place even with the straps on the corners. Also it causes my sheets to ride up and come off my bed for some reason?

This is a very well made and comfortable mattress topper. I bought a new mattress and it was so incredibly uncomfortable that my back hurt me constantly the entire week I had to sleep on it without the topper. Just got the topper in yesterday and I LOVE the straps that secure it to the mattress. It formed to my body when I laid down and it wasn’t heat absorbing, which is a BIG plus because I’m always hot. I got this to use for car camping, but used it at home for a couple nights. It definitely added a level of comfort that was unexpected, in a good way. I can not speak to pain relief, as i have almost constant back pain, but it definitely didn't hurt. I slept well 2 days in a row, which doesn't happen often. My sister had to use this memory foam in her camper. My husband and I spent our wedding night there because we were more than a little tipsy and we instantly as soon as we could bought this because that was the first night since we could remember that neither one of us woke up in pain. The mattress at our apartment had been causing us issues for a while but we couldn't really afford to replace it but putting this on has made all the difference. unfortunately for me I am the real life princess and the pea! so it is nothing for me to stack mats until I reach my level of perfection, and unfortunately this product needs another 3-4 inches for me to achieve where I'm trying to get..
