We bought an expensive gel mattress. It's not as comfortable as we thought it should be and it gets so incredibly HOT! SO, as a last resort we purchased this mattress topper. What a game change! It's soft and you sink into it. I wake up without aches and pains and it keeps me so much COOLER. I rarely wake up in the middle of the night like I used to. When I opened the package there wasn't any odor. Size fits great on my queen bed. The topper gives comfort and support on my lower back. I'm really glad I chose to get this addition to my bed. Great investment.

I purchased the 3” queen. Very comfortable, no odor. I have slept better than I have in a long time since I purchased. The topper is soft which prefer. Haven’t noticed any of the pain that I had before purchasing. I agree with other reviews that there is no noticeable cooling feature although the product claims it has a cooling feature. For me this is not an issue. I would have rated a 5 but for some the softness and no real cooling feature may not be ideal. I would recommend and purchase again.

I currently live in a temporary furnished rental. My pillow top king size mattress is in a storage unit. Sleep is very important to me, so I purchased this king size gel-foam mattress topper. It is quite comfortable and a huge improvement over the firm mattress provided in the rental. There was no weird smell as reported by other mattress topper brands. I don’t know how one could possibly “slide off the bed” as mentioned by some in other reviews unless you’re a complete imbecile. It’s not a plush pillow top mattress, but it’s as close as you can get to one. Sleep is too valuable to skimp and buy something cheap and ineffective.

I ordered this mattress topper for my older queen mattress that I recently started having hip pain issues with during the night having to reposition often because of the pain. This topper has made a big difference for me. It has proven to be very comfortable and I do not reposition as often to relieve pain. The mattress was ready to be placed on my bed after 48 hours and there was no smell .

I have an older mattress which needed to be replaced but I didn't have the funds. I decided to find a mattress pad which would help me pad out the time for when I could get said new mattress. I purchased this pad as it was advertised as being cooling at night. The pad was in a small box which meant it was vacuum packed into a plastic bag. I opened the plastic bag and the foam pad was soon at full size. I placed it on the mattress and it fit quite well. The pad itself was soft enough and did the trick at first. The one thing I noticed was how hot my body felt after laying on the pad during the night. I sweat a lot more than usual as well. I wonder what they meant by cooling gel as I did not feel any sort of coolness during the night. The other part is the pad does crack and split when it is moved. Also, I have a cat who uses it as a scratching pad as well. She doesn't like to lay on it for some reason but does like to sharpen her claws on it. Go figure, she's a cat. Bottom line: I was hoping this would help me but it ended up being more of a hindrance instead. It might be better used as a temporary place for someone to spend the night. It also might work better during colder nights as it does seem to retain body heat (at least for me). In the meantime, I will buy a new mattress and get a regular mattress pad for it. Not recommended unless for temporary usage. Update: The seller contacted and offered a full refund for the mattress. They did state most of us are different and some may react differently to the mattress. It is good they not only stand by their product but do their best to resolve any issue which may include refunds.
