    • I pursued it again and it was a complete failure.
I purchased this item a week or so ago and it worked so well, I bought another one which arrived today. When I opened it, I noticed a problem. The shaft that allows opening and closing the jaws worked ok until I tried to open the jaws and found the screw that holds the jaws in place was stripped. Instead of opening and closing the jaws it just left the jaws together and rotated the turn knob, making it useless. I've tried to leave a review twice to no effect. I spent 45 minutes drilling and retaping the problem before getting it resolved. If you buy this, I hope you do well but don't expect perfection. ... show more

not a high quality feel lost of play in the whole mechanism but got it for a friend who makes jewelry for fun nothing high volume so not to worried about it falling apart quickly I am picking up two longer screw to attach the round posts over the flat clamp jaws without removing them

I think it will work for my needs, but the product looks like it was created in a 3-D printer. In retrospect I should have paid a little more for something better. Sometimes, a low price should be a red flag to consider other alternatives.

It works as expected for something so cheap. I'm only using it to hold small parts I need to dremel or hold the occasional PCB in place. It does the job.

I am so happy to finally find a vice that fits my Dremel Drill Press. I went to several hardware and craft stores and couldn’t find the correct size. So I looked on Amazon! The vice will be able to hold all of my crafting needs. It’s perfect!
