This mattress topper is top of the line. It feels soft yet durable. We let it rest for a few hours before lying on it so it could fully stretch out to its normal size. We used it for the first time last night and slept better and woke up much better rested than we have in a long time!

When I first opened the Perlecare 3" gel infused mattress topper and removed it from its package, I noticed how soft, durable, and cushiony it felt. I'd bought more expensive mattress toppers in the past but none of them seemed so durable and comfortable as this one. After following the directions and letting it rest for 48 hours to let it breath, stretch, and conform to its normal size, we tested and slept on it that night. We rarely used this bed due to it being an older mattress. It's uncomfortable and hard but figured this was the ultimate test to check it out. We placed a different topper on this bed in the past but it was still unforgiving. I have trouble sleeping on hard mattresses due to a bad hip and find it very painful by not being able to turn or roll over during the night to change positions. Nonetheless, we covered the mattress with the Perlecare topper and hoped for the best. My husband and I were extremely happy and surprised. Not only did the topper feel supple and comfortable but we actually enjoyed laying on it. We first tested it out by rolling on our sides, back, and stomach. We pressed the topper down with the palms of our hand and our elbows to see was uncomfortable. We found, however, that it did a wonderful job. I felt little hip pain as I turned and rolled around the bed. We really had a great night's sleep as the topper cradled us in softness and not engulf us where we would be unable to move. We now prefer this bed to the our queen size bed since we prefer to wake up from a more refreshed sleep, something we haven't had for a long time. We now find that we wake up with a smile on our face because of what a great topper can do for a great night's sleep.

The media could not be loaded. To sum it up, it does what it advertises. 1. Cools (Gel & Bamboo) 2. Adds softness (3” option) 3. Holds in place (adjustable corner clips) 4. No smells straight out of the package! (Carbon layer) 5. Great price point 6. Actually expanded to 3 inches 7. Reversible insert with removable/washable cover We all know the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It was the middle option that was always just right, and when shopping for a mattress topper, you may find yourself in the same scenario. I analyze and research before all purchases to get the best bang for the buck. The 3” thickness is an excellent option if you aren't sure yet what pad thickness you prefer. I personally decided on the 3 inch topper to give extra softness to a queen memory foam mattress that is just a little too firm. Typically, it’s recommended to open a window and let the mattress expand for 4 to 6 hours…overnight is probably best so it expands fully and airs any VOC’s out before you sleep on it. Foam mattresses if they don’t have a cooling layer already built in, they can sleep a little bit hot. This mattress pad/topper was a great option because it does have a cooling features with bamboo and gel. It also has a charcoal layer for odors. I have been switching over to more natural fibers and bamboo is a great less expensive option than linen. From all the research, bamboo is a great strong fabric that will hold up better when spot cleaning/washing and it is also naturally cooling/sweat wicking. We live in Texas, so this is a huge factor. This fixed two of my main mattress problems, comfort and temperature with the additional bonus of extending the life of the mattress. Depending on how deep your current mattress is, this is going to add that extra 3 inches so if you don’t already have deep pocket sheets, I would go ahead and get them so they don’t slip off. This mattress topper also had a genius built-in option, which is the corner clips so the topper doesn’t move. Previously, I’ve had down feather toppers or regular protector/toppers and they do move around so I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened and this product and it had those corner tabs.

I love this mattress topper, it does come in vacuum sealed so you have yo give it time to expand, honestly not sure how long it took since we were out for that weekend. It’s super nice and cool. I’ve slept on it for a week now and so far it’s held its shape. If that changes I will update my review. Very pleased with it

Do I have to tell you it's easy to install. Just place it over your current mattress. We just bought a new mattress, and to say it was stiff would be an understatement. We tried a fitted sheet style topper, but that did not help. It wasn't thick enough. This topper is a Godsend. Comfortable, thick, and soft. That stiff mattress below is hardly noticeable.

Extremely comfortable It will be my second night with it and im righting this review laying in bed. The dimensions are very accurate and it fit my mattress like a glove. Not even 1 millimeter off the advertised measurements and perfectly aligned with the mattress. The only problem was leaving bed this morning.
