Not talking price, I'm talking quality. Thinner gauge than soda can aluminum grommets, will not hold onto either the plastic or poles, stakes or ropes without pulling out or bending. Weight of the tarp alone on the grommet is enough to get them to pull out. Had to use duct tape on either side, with another piece across both at 90 degrees to keep them from pulling out. Material is so thin and porous water flows right through. I thought I had a pretty solid setup to keep me dry. Wrong. Both the tarp across the top and the tarp under the tent leaked like sieves. The photo of the water droplets...that's on the tent under the tarp. Both got balled up and deposited in the trashcan when I left as I'd be disappointed even storing firewood under them. Buy Harbor Freight, spend less, get more. Buy a roll of saran wrap or even window screen, you'll get more rain protection for less. These are not the tarps you're looking for. ... show more

The material is very thin and the rings popped out after the first installation of the tarp. After two weeks you can see the tarp is starting to get sheer enough too start to shred.
