Works good. It's not over built so it can't be abused much. I used it to prime an engine with oil so it DOES provide decent pressure. Must use hose clamps if used with an obstruction or it will blow hose off. 3/8 hose will fit it tightly.

Had to flush the trans on my truck. This worked great for pumping new fluid into the trans while old fluid was coming out the return line. So far so good on quality! Make sure you tighten down all the fittings first before pumping any kind of fluid through it. I forgot to do that and fluid started leaking through. Tightened them down, and no more problems. Was missing a couple pieces of hardware but it did not keep me from assembling and using it. ... show more

For the price, this was a pretty good deal. I pumped my first 10 gallons of Super UDT2 into my tractor without a problem. However, there are a few things to know here. The hose they send is pretty sad. I haven't yet upgraded it but it probably needs to be replaced. It kinks at the outlet and needs to have a lot of help to remain open and it really needs a clamp because if you don't clamp it, it will spit the hose off in a hurry. Also the nut through which the plunger travels must be tightened or it will leak. I suspect this is where the other reviewers were complaining about leaking. There is also some assembly required so be ready for that. But my biggest gripe is that there is no hole in the top of the steel lid into which I might put the feed tube. So I had to keep an old jug around to let it drain. That seems really odd to me. But for the price, it will get lube into your tractor (or whatever) much more easily than you can do it with a funnel. Temping to give three stars, but aside from these shortcomings, it works well. ... show more

Really nice tool. Per prior reviews I made sure all nuts were tight and also added a hole in the cover to hang the hook to drain back. No complaints. Made filling my diff very easy and fast. No comment on durability yet.

I bought this because the Lumax LX-1300 was out of stock. At a quick glance, they appear identical, so I figured it would be. Its not. This performance tools product uses thinner wall and smaller diameter vinyl tubing. The paint of the lid was flaking so badly that it was ready to fall into and contaminate the fluid container. If you have this and the Lumax side by side, the Lumax has substantially better build quality. Heavy duty rivets instead of cheap poorly machined bolts, etc. The Lumax is a better value at twice the price of this garbage Performance Tool version. ... show more
