  • Basic, bulletproof, reliable torque wrench.
Style: 1/2" Dr. Beam Style (0-150 ft/lbs)
If you are taking something apart and don't know the torque for re-assmbling it, you can use this when loosening a bolt to get a pretty good idea what the bolt is torqued at. I also like using these instead of the click-type wrenches because you can see the target torque coming up as you tighten the bolt. You also never have to worry about missing the slight "click" of the click-type wrench and then over-torque something. This is pretty bulletproof. It's accurate enough for most routine applications and gets the job don. This also doesn't have those little delicate internal springs that the clicker type wrenches have that go out of calibration or act weird in really cold conditions. This type of design was used to build machinery like old tractors and steam engines that are still in use 100 or more years later. Sometimes simplier is better. ... show more

  • low cost torque wrench
Style: 1/2" Dr. Beam Style (0-150 ft/lbs)
I know that this design isn't the most accurate and has been around for a long, long time but it just works. +/- 4% is accurate enough for my purposes and this one cowas st the least I could find. If a little bubble wrap or styrofoam had been put in the box along with my wrench it'd been perfect as it a little bent up where the pointer meets the scale + was offset by 40 lb./ft. It took a couple of minutes to straighten and realign pointer to 0 but I think is OK now, as far as I can tell without calibrating, but that isn't a great way to pkg. any type of a precision instrument. even the lowly beam style torque wrench. However, I'm happy w/it. ... show more

Style: 1/2" Dr. Beam Style (0-150 ft/lbs)
This review is for the 0-150 ft/lbs 1/2" Dr Beam Style Torque Wrench. Durable, accurate and never needs calibrating. I've never trusted click-style torque wrenches because of their notorious inaccuracy. As a matter of fact a lot of mechanics calibrate their click-style torque wrenches using a beam-style torque wrench. ... show more

  • Keeps the wheels on!
Style: 1/2" Dr. Beam Style (0-150 ft/lbs)
Use these to torque the wheels of a 2011 Hyundai Elantra, you have to adjust it if it bends from use, keep it 180 degrees to have a accurate reading.

  • Great value and fast shipping.
Style: 1/2" Dr. Beam Style (0-150 ft/lbs)
Works great and a better price then the local auto parts store. I gave it 4 star because the measuring rod was slightly bent but I dont think it effected the accuracy by much.
