  • Excellent pencil
Style: 0.5mm
I actually really love this pencil and it's so funny that it came the same day my other pencil ran out of lead. It makes it so more comfortable to draw because of the lead size and gets those tiny details. The only downside to the pencil is; the eraser. Once it get short and you need to push it up to get more out, it is very and i can't stress this enough very difficult. It felt like the gods were playing a cruel trick on me by only letting a 0.2mm slowly come out of this bastardize pencil. Really love it! ... show more

  • This is my favorite mechanical pencil
Style: 0.5mm
This is a great pencil. I have bought 4 of them now, as my wife and kids over time will "borrow" them and I never see them again. Once you use this you can't go back to those plastic ones. Good solid feel in your fingers, mechanism always works, it's really nice to use.

  • Replacement for P225
Style: 0.5mm
Finding the 225 discontinued and never liking the 205, I gave this a try. Great balance and feel with the knurled metal. A fine tip for those who actually draft with it. More industrial than the 225 but very nice.

  • My holy grail for my shop projects
Style: 0.7mm
I've been trying different ways to mark things I've built ni my shop. My old reiable has been th Dixon Ticonderoga. Some of them are 30 yeaars old and still kicking. I've tried carpenters pencils, sharpies of all size tips and the 2mm mechanical pencil (drafting pencil) which was my recent favorite. Plus, I've used other pentel products successfully back in my art days. This .7mm is what I've been looking for. Paired with non-photo blue lead like this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00Z64IO62 makes my life easier. The extended drafting tip fits in all my marking devices and lets me get that line right up to my straight edge reliably. Normally I'd have used my pile of .5mm pencils I collected over time, but I've found that size is just a hair too fragile and breaks more often than .7mm. The knurled grip is easy to hold and isn't too aggressive as to be unconfortable after using it all day. The body is a dark blue that does blend in with other items in the shop, so a wrap or two of fluorescent artists tape helps with locating it (so does putting it back in the pencil cup). At $7 it was a pricey gamble but I'd do it again. I'm really pleased with it, for it being just a mechanical pencil. ... show more

  • spectacular mechanical pencil
Style: 0.7mm
This pencil feels great, the only downside is making sure nobody walks off with it.

  • Great precision, but lightweight feel
Style: 0.5mm
I love Pentel mechanical pencils. This particular one is a little too lightweight feeling for me, but it is smooth and writes nicely. I prefer their heavier models that feel so much more durable.
