    • Lightweight pen, smooth writing!

PROS: SMOOTH WRITING, especially if you write small. Oddly, I did notice a slight difference in my he smoothness when I wrote in an “average” size. This may be more so a cause of moving the nib in longer, quicker strokes across the paper than an issue with the ink for longer periods of time. VARIETY OF INK COLORS. I appreciate having a variety of ink colors to choose from that match the color of the pen. CONS: VERY LIGHTWEIGHT. While this is a negative for me, others may find it to their liking. I’ve always preferred a weightier pen in my hand. It feels cheaply made and not as enjoyable to write with. DOESN’T COME WITH NEEDLE NOSE NIB. This is a relatively minor negative, but I also prefer a needle nose nib, especially in the .07mm. The plus side is that I can order refills with needle nibs. I hope they don’t stop the manufacture of needle nibs in all the colors! Overall, this Energel Liquid Ink pen is a decent pen to have in your collection of everyday writers. I recommend it with the caveats listed above. ... show more
