This is the second rod that I am receiving since I had to return the first one because it was damaged at the top handle ring. After inspecting the replacement I noticed scratches and dents at the same area as the first one. I am starting to wonder if they are actually brand new or refurbished. Not sure if it's even worth requesting another replacement and maybe just get a refund and spend my money somewhere else. ... show more

Purchased the 9' rod, its rated for 3/4oz - 3oz rated. This is a really beautiful rod at this price point. Its extremely strong and light. I paired it with a Penn Battle 5000 for jetty/shore fishing. Its just a really great feel in hand.
