works well, the ipad mini has a lot of small icons and my fingers are too fat... So need this. cannot say how it recharges, attached to the iPad ... haven't had it long enough. the magnet attachment could be stronger . the pen will come loose quite easily. Do not use it for writing ....

Mixed (but mostly positive) bag in this one. Downside first: the wireless charging feature worked for me, but drains the iPad battery endlessly, past the point where the pencil battery is full. A few times I've forgotten to turn my fully charged iPad offnand woke up to it completely dead. It also makes a rather unpleasant "screaming" sound while charging, though I have really sensitive ears so it might not be that big a problem if you don't. Otherwise I think this is a great buy. It's slightly lighter weight than the one I had before, and writes really well. I prefer the sensitivity and feel in the hand over the previous one I owned, and it held up well over a year and a half of heavy usage. (I'm only on the market for a new one now because I've lost it) However, despite liking it overall, the noise and infinite battery drain issue is enough of a con for me that I'm trying a different brand this time, but your mileage may vary. If you always turn your iPad off or leave it plugged in and aren't sensitive to high pitched sounds, it's a great device.

The pencil was light weight and while most may like the choice of both magnetic charging or usb charging options, I found the design to be sub par. The plug for the usb charging port made a tight fit for magnetic charging in the iPad case and was easily pushed out- not being connected- also easily could be lost. It seemed to be good quality for the price point but preferred the Apple Pencil. In the end -sent it back.
