I like the “Peaboni Pencil 2nd Generation” in general, and the black color matches my iPad Pro 13 (M4) nicely. It writes smoothly, and it connected to my iPad immediately - and when I added it to my iPad with Bluetooth, it showed up in my battery widget to show me its state of charge. However, like others have said, I cannot see any difference in the heaviness of the stroke by tilting the pen to steeper angles. Nor have I noticed it charging at all when I magnetically attach it to my iPad, but for some reason it’s not in the ‘compatible’ list…looks like it will have to be charged with the old-school USB cable.

Using an iPad 10th Generation, this paired automatically, and I was able to start writing and drawing in the Notes App. I had the original Apple Pencil, but it kept getting harder and harder to charge with a lightning port. I like that this has an on-off switch like a pen. Comes with extra nibs and charging port plugs as well as a USB-A to USB-C short cable (which these days seems excessive). Going to the Apple Website, this pencil appears to be the generic equivalent (in black) of the new Apple USB-C Pencil, which retails for $50 more. Also, they say the angle of writing changes the size of the lines, but so far, I have not been able to reproduce this. Also, the pencil sort of sticks to the side of the iPad, but I can not vouch for magnetic charging as my pencil is 100% (you need to manually pair the pencil to the iPad to get a battery reading on the battery widget). This is something the Apple Pencil does not claim to do. Also not sure if this supports Apple Pencil Hover as this Ipad is not supported.

Peaboni Pencil 2nd Generation for iPad 2018-2024 with Magnetic Wireless Charging I got this for an older iPad Mini 5th gen, and it works perfectly with it. However, the 5th gen does not seem to have magnetic charging, so I can't take advantage of that. For the 25 bucks they charge for this unit, it is actually on the high side of price for a pencil, but that seems to be what most of the wireless charging units are going for. It does come with six replacement nibs, and some replacement covers for the USB port. This is my first pencil for an iPad, and I think it will be a great addition to my kit!

Interesting pencil. I have mixed thoughts about it. For a first time pencil user, it’s great. It rights smoothly, is super lite weight, and fits into the pencil holder on the case. If you’re looking for a first pencil, or need an inexpensive one for travel or a kiddo, this is a good option. For others who have used an Apple Pencil, this is going to feel less than. It feels too lite, as if it won’t be able to do the job as well. The charging port has an unattached rubber stopper, which needs to be kept track of while charging. So it won’t work for some people and will be a great option for others.

The media could not be loaded. I am totally blown away by the quality of this pencil! This is an outstanding alternative to the basic Apple Pencil at a much better price point. This pencil has lightweight all-plastic construction. While some people may prefer the heavier weight of brand-name pencils, I actually much prefer lighter writing tools as a left-handed writer. The nibs have a soft feel, and it was so impressive to find SIX replacement nibs in the package. I like that it has a physical on/off switch with an indicator light (this light also indicates battery power). It came fully charged so I was able to use it right away, and it paired to my iPad mini (7th generation) as soon as I touched it to the screen. The magnetic connection works well although it doesn't fit flush to the iPad with the USB-C cover inserted into the pencil. It is also tilt-sensitive which I attempted to demonstrate in my included video. This is altogether a fantastic pencil at a great price!
