We were looking for a “sturdy” dresser for our son’s bedroom. We didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something that might be temporary. Shipping communication was confusing but the customer service was great and we received this piece on time as promised! Yes, this item comes in many pieces and if you go slow and steady, the reward will pay off as you will have a very sturdy piece. My husband took his time putting this together and he worked on it for a 2-3 hours at a time. At times it took two of us to reposition finished pieces. I really like the color of this piece as it matches pretty well with our woodwork and I love the versatility of the shelves, drawers and hanging space. I can lock medications in the top drawer which is a plus too. I think this piece will last longer than what I expected but I think it is because of how it was assembled. Don’t expect to assemble this in an hour or you will be easily frustrated when it appears to fall apart or it doesn’t hold up. There are other ones that are cheaper and they look identical to this one but I was willing to pay a little more because, on closer inspection of the pictures, this one looked like it was a little more sturdier than the cheaper version and the reviews were not that great. IF you are willing to spend 2-3 days putting together this piece, then it is worth it. You will get a sturdy, versatile piece of furniture. ... show more

I want to give 3stars. If i paid for expert assembly then this would be a great review; customer service was responsive and considerate. .. but I assembled it myself and: - it was missing parts (not just because it came in two packages on seperate days). *Make sure to organize every component before assembling so that it is easy to return if damaged. I'm giving two stars because the series got discontinued by manufacturer anyways; in the hopes that someone reads this review and finds it helpful. Got this to upgrade my small bedroom and I love it! Definitely recommend having 2 people to put it together though as this took me about 7 hours by myself and I had to go out of order because there was just no way for me to follow the beginning steps.
