I have a GoPro and another budget action camera and I wanted to try some car videos. I saw the PellKing Suction Cup Mount for DJI Osmo Pocket 3,Car Windshield Window Dash Holder Kit and in reviewing the product pictures, I saw that I could attach any standard action camera or accessory on the mount, including 1/4" screw mounted cameras or accessories. I compared this to other car window holders and chose this as the attachment arm was longer and allowed more flexibility of positioning my cameras. The kit came in a box with no instructions, however anyone familiar with action cameras can figure out what pieces go where. I was most surprised and impressed with the suction cup as it had some kind of pliable gel (elastic silicone) on it which made for a great seal on the car windshield. Not your typical suction cup attachment! I give this 5 stars as the holding power is very impressive, having an option of using either the standard action camera mount or the 1/4" screw mount, and finally the flexibility of the attachment arm to find just the right position for your camera. I suppose this works too for an Osmo Pocket 3 camera, but it's great for my GoPro, my budget action camera, and my lighting and microphone accessories.     • Make sure you place it in a spot where it will permanently reside.
It works perfectly if you place it where you want and never take it off. The moment the adhesive got dirty I was unable to get the sicky strength it once had. I would have liked to be able to move it from location to location (car videos), but from what I can see it is not possible. Maybe have some cleaning supplies or a way to change out the adhesive pad once the original is worn, dirty, etc. ... show more

    • Suction AND Self-Adhesive Make This Mount "Semi-Permanent"
This PellKing Suction Cup Mount uses both "suction" AND a "self-adhesive" to attach the mount to smooth, clean and dry surfaces. This can be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on your needs. If you want your mount to be "permanently" affixed ... and to be extra strong and stable, this mount might be the mount for you. Because of the combination of the self-adhesion AND the suction, this mount is more secure and stable than a lot of other "suction powered" only mounts available. However, if you want a "suction" mount that you can easily mount ... and then remove and mount somewhere else ... and move, again, this mount might not be the best for you, as the adhesive will lose it's sticky power every time you remove it from a surface and stick it onto a different surface. This mount accommodates a "standard" camera fitting with the 1/4 x 20 screw, and "action cameras" and "Osmo Pocket 3" cameras with attachments. There are no instructions included with this mount, so you'll want to play around with it a bit and see how the adjustments work ... and the range of the adjustments ... BEFORE you stick it "semi-permanently" onto a surface. I was confused by at least two of the images in this Amazon listing that supposedly demonstrate the "Installation Suction Cups" ... and also describe in the "Packaging List" that this product includes "Adhesive suction cups," as in ... more than ONE suction cup. In the mount that I received, only ONE suction cup was include. Or ... maybe this seller is referring to the "adhesive" part of the suction cup to be one suction cup ... and the actual rubber part of THE suction cup (onto which the adhesive is already applied) to be the "other" suction cup? Or ... did I receive an incomplete product ... ? ... show more
