Ordered this V730 for my truck on the roof rack and its just prefect fit and size for there made some holes and mounted it to my roof rack and its stays there solid for almost half of the year already. Its been thro rain and snow and everything in-between and inside is dry and clean ! so it dose its job very happy with it.. Love this to hold a hunting rifle with plenty of extra room. It’s easy to cut the foam inside to fit most firearms. It is durable and almost seems bullet proof. It is pretty heavy and might be good to use for traveling with a firearm.

Fantastic case as expected, plenty of room for many items, pews, cameras, other sensitive equipment. Wheels are great and roll freely on any surface. The latches are the best, they are easy to latch and release but hold very strong and tight.

    • Read this to save $125 each time you check this when flying...

So I purchased this with the intent of checking larger items when flying. I had no experience checking oversized luggage and learned it can be rather costly. The luggage was great and I have checked it on several cross country flights with everything contained unharmed and the container itself without damage. My review is more along the lines of tips to avoid fees. When researching the acceptable luggage size for my flights I overlooked something important. I flew Southwest and the maximum size limit is 62" so going off the length of this Pelican case I was thinking "no problem it's much less than that." Wrong! Their measurement is by adding up height, length, and width. Because of this the Pelican luggage is 66" and for Southwest that's $125 each time you fly. How did I avoid this on all of my flights? Do curbside checkin and TIP the person who helps you unload your luggage. I tipped $20 each time which is way better than paying $125 each time you check your bag. Your mileage may vary but it worked in every city I've flown out of and my guess is it would work with other airlines as well. Those guys are working for tips and not concerned with if your bag is a couple inches over the limit. Now if you try to do this at the ticket counter you'll be rolling the dice and odds are probably against you. ... show more
