I have a Lectric XP4 e-bike. It has 20” tires that are 3” wide. I have been looking for a rack for my bike for some time. I store it in the house, and it has a very small kickstand so I am always worried it might get knocked over. When I saw this, I thought it might work as it was one of the few that I saw said it would work for wheels wider than 3”. I wasn’t expecting to have to assemble it but that was ok. The directions were pretty good. I got stopped up once when I forgot to attach the little plastic washers. I just missed it since it was small in the directions. It went together pretty easily and didn’t take too long. I forgot to time it to see exactly how long but I wasn’t frustrated at the end feeling like I spent forever working on it. The directions give you options depending on the size of your wheel. I used the holes labeled for the smaller size since a 20” wheel is the smallest they recommend this rack for. I tried it out in the kitchen first to make sure I knew I could put my bike on it easily. It’s really tight where I normally keep my bike. I was able to get it onto the rack both forward and backwards. I didn’t try putting it in the vertical position because my bike is heavy for me to lift and I know I won’t be able to do that by myself. I wanted to be able to back the bike into the rack because it’s easier to back in and pull out of where I store it. The other way requires a lot more lifting than I already have to do to get it around all the corners. The only thing I found a little weird was the Velcro strap to prevent the front wheel from turning when you have it on the vertical. First, it was barely long enough to get around my tire and frame, but I have an in-frame battery. But second, it seemed like the hook side was on backwards. You can’t pull it back through the loop to tighten it. You just go across. Not sure if I am describing that well or if it’s clear in the pictures I have included. It wasn’t a deal breaker, just annoying and confounding to me. In my pictures you can see I have it standing in the middle of the room so it doesn’t need any additional support. My e-bike is pretty close to the top weight limit for this rack and it holds it up well. I believe this is going to hold up for the long run which is good because this is my second e-bike. I put 1200 miles on the first and then traded it up and I already have over 300 miles on this one. So I plan to bike for many years to come.

PEGZONE Freestanding Bike Floor Stand, Vertical Horizontal Bicycle Storage Rack... I'm often on the lookout for new and useful accessories for my Mountain Bikes. So when I saw this pop up on Amazon I decided to give it a try... First off, the bike stand is really well made, and looks nice. It's primarily made of square powder coated steel tubes. A few parts are made of plastic like the rollers the wheels sit on. While the hook that holds the wheels at the top is made of steel coated in rubber. And the mount at the bottom that holds the wheel is made of solid tubular steel. The bike stand is roughly 5 feet high, is about 2 feet deep and less than 1 foot wide. I'd guess it weighs less than 10 pounds fully assembled. So its easy to move around when needed. And it has rubber pads on the bottom legs to keep it from sliding around or scratching your floors. I tried it out on two different 29 inch mountain bikes. One bike is a size Medium, 29 inch cross country bike. The stand was pretty good fit with this bike. The second bike is a size Extra Large, 29 inch full suspension Trail Bike. This XL Trail Bike barely fit in the stand. Though it did technically fit, I would say the stand needs to be 6 inches taller for this big of a bike to fit properly. For around $55, this bike stand is a pretty good deal. Though it is currently around $45 with a promo on Amazon. So, it's an even better deal at the moment. I would definitely recommend this bike stand if you have a 29 inch cross country bike or smaller. But, it's a tight fit for a somewhat larger 29 inch trail bike. Five stars out of five...

While trying to find some extra floorspace in my garage, I came across this bike stand that allows you to store a bike vertically, so I thought this product could help with that, so I ordered it. The rack itself is pretty good quality considering the low price point of this rack. Assembly took maybe 20 minutes, but that was because the instructions are not the best, but they were not the worst I have had to deal with. After assembly I tried a few different standard full-size bikes, and this rack was able to accommodate them all, including my 75 pound e-bike, although I am not using this rack for that bike; I just wanted to test it. I am using it as a vertical rack to get more floor space, but it can be used as a horizontal rack, but I don't really see the point of using it that way because it would basically be the same as just using your kickstand. The rack is easy to move around without a bike in it so you can get it in the spot that you want to use it in. Using it vertically saves about 50% of the floor space that a bike would otherwise be using, so using a few of these could really get you some more floor space if needed in your garage or wherever you are using it. While there are fancier bike stands out there, they do cost more money, so this is a good budget-friendly option that can add some needed floor space. I think this rack would be especially helpful for people who live in apartments and where space is at a premium. Given its price, quality, and usefulness, this is a good value in my opinion.

This looks like a really practical bike storage solution for people who want to keep a bike indoors without drilling into walls or ceilings. The biggest advantage is definitely the freestanding vertical storage design because it saves a huge amount of floor space compared to laying a bike horizontally on the ground. For apartments, bedrooms, garages, or even small home gyms, that vertical orientation honestly makes a big difference. The fact that it supports both vertical and horizontal configurations is nice too since different bike types and room layouts sometimes work better one way than the other. The 77 lb weight rating is surprisingly solid as well. That means it should handle not only regular road and hybrid bikes, but also many heavier mountain bikes and some e-bikes. The “no drilling required” aspect is another major plus, especially for renters who can’t install wall hooks or ceiling mounts. It works but the only issue I have is that the rack isn't tall enough to hold my trek fuel ex. I had to lay the wheels on top of the hook instead and strap it down with a velcro strap to keep it from tipping over.

Works great for my biggest bike, a Specialized S works with big tires. It was a tight fit, but it does the job. There's a lot of parts to it and I always prefer as few pieces which are forged together rather than screwed or glued together, but this has been solid. The directions could use some work, but it's a really good, versatile rack for the price point. Not specific to this rack, but I find PegZone products to vacillate between good and great. I'd say this one is good for the money. You should also check out their computer cable management solutions as well. They're making a name for themselves with good reason.

I like to store my nice bicycles inside my house out of the elements or dirty environments such in the backyard or dusty, hot garage. I have multiple bikes and have one of those floor to ceiling stands that can hold two bikes, one above the other, but I needed something for my 3rd bike. This PEGZONE Freestanding Bike Floor Stand turned out to be just what I needed, I’ll tell you what. It is fairly lightweight (only 8 lbs) so it’s easy to carry and relocate in your house if the occasion arises. It can hold your bike in place in both the horizontal or vertical position, the latter being the configuration I was most interested in because it minimizes the amount of floor space required. I can put it parallel to a wall in my bedroom and it’s pretty much out of the way. Assembly was pretty straightforward. The instructions are one of those follow the pictures, no text included. However, the parts are all clearly labeled and the necessary tools are included, i.e. 2 different hex wrenches and an open end wrench. Rather than use my own tools, I used the included ones in order to see how easy and quickly it would take. I spent no more than 30 minutes from start to finish, and that included laying everything out to make sure I wasn’t missing any nuts or bolts, etc. If you have your own metric toolset, you can probably assemble the floor stand much quicker. A socket and either an open end or box wrench would make things easier, although the included tools were sufficient to get the job done. Just remember not to tighten everything up right away until you have the base pretty much assembled, after which you can then do the final tightening. Then add the vertical bar and you’re done. Note that you do have to decide on what size bicycle you plan to park on the bicycle storage rack as you are assembling it because you will be inserting the bolts into different sets of holes based on the type of bike you have (i..e. wheel size). In other words, this isn’t a bicycle storage rack that will quickly adapt to different sized bicycles. Since I planned to use it for my road frame with 700c tires, I set it up accordingly. Now regarding the actually freestanding storage of your bicycle. As I mentioned, I wanted to store my bike in the vertical orientation. I found that side-to-side, once the bike was mounted, that it was pretty stable. However, there is the danger of grabbing high on the bike, say the top tube or the handlebars and pulling forward and the stand will easily topple over. This isn’t really a problem UNLESS you have a curious toddler who watches you remove your bicycle and then tries to mimic the action but simply pulls on the handlebars or somewhere else on the bike, thinking that’s what they saw you do. In that case, the bike, still attached to stand, may come toppling down on them, as shown in the video where I can use a single finger to pull the bike backwards while still attached to the stand. Just something to be aware of if you have young children that can access the bike. If that’s the case, I would recommend you park your bike in the horizontal position instead. In my case, I have no youngsters around to worry about that sort of thing happening. I’ve seen some other bike floor stands that have a shorter vertical arm that rely on grabbing the seat post to keep the bike upright but I like the design of this PEGZONE Freestanding Bike Floor Stand much better, the way it hooks to your front tire instead, although my front tire required the use of the include strap to keep the wheel inline otherwise it had a tendency to turn slightly when in place. And it’s nicely priced as well. If you only need to park a single bike and you want the flexibility to move the stand easily if needed, I think the PEGZONE stand would be an worthwhile choice.

Needed a stand for my bike that I use at work and this stand works great as it is practical, easy to assembly, useful and doesn't take up to much space, is cost effective, appearance fits with the surroundings at work, easily accessible when needed for patrols and a all around durable bike stand.
