Now available with Anti-rebound Bar and Kinetic Pods. The Primo Viaggio Convertible Kinetic follows child from infancy through toddlerhood by converting from a rear-facing to a forward- facing car seat. Provides maximum safety and height adjustable Side Impact Protection. The Convertible is made with the highest quality of materials, providing complete safety and peace of mind to parents of little ones. It offers added safety features like height adjustable Side Impact Protection (SIP), Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) and Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) energy- absorbing foam, Anti-rebound bar, and Kinetic Pods. The Convertible was designed to provide the utmost in safety and fashion. Parents will find the innovative Fresco Jersey performance fabric to comfortably suit their little ones, as well as present a chic and stylish look that would be a welcome addition to any vehicle. The American Academy of Pediatrics now recommends parents keep their children rear facing until they reach their second birthday, or they reach the maximum height or weight for their seat. The Kinetic allows a child to sit rear facing up to 45 lbs., as long as the child's head is at least 1" below the headrest edge. The Viaggio Flex 120 and Viaggio Shuttle Plus can seat a child forward facing from 40 to 120 pounds. The top tether hook attaches to the vehicle and increases stability while the child restraint is in forward facing mode and limits forward movement.

Our first grandbaby grew out of her infant car seat at about a year. We did a LOT of research on car seats and according to the NTSB this is one of the safest! She absolutely loves this chair. She was not a car sleeper before but this one is so comfy she almost always falls asleep on car rides now!

Love this car seat!! My son cried every car ride in his uppababy aria infant seat and since switching, he doesn’t mind the car at all! He’ll happily sit in his peg perego. It’s a safe seat and feels extremely high quality. We haven’t had to clean yet but seems like a simple wipe down will do. We’ll be buying another for my husbands truck and will likely use this brand for every kid we have in the future. I looked at car seats for weeks and am so happy with this one. For the most part I really love this car seat. It’s comfortable and it rides cool. Easy to install. The pink color is really pretty too. My only complaint is the harness release button is so hard to access. I have small skinny fingers and about sprain my finger every time I try to reach it. I thought about cutting the fabric overlying the button just to access it easier. Also thought about returning it due to this issue but I really love everything else about it so we will make it work! ... show more

I'm not a baby seat expert by any means, but I bought 2 of these for my family. My wife got into an accident on the highway going 50+mph with our 2yo in the back facing forward. An elderly gentleman was not paying attention and pulled out onto the highway right in front of my wife. Thank the Lord, no one was hurt. My wife's car was totaled beyond repair. The fire fighter's exact words - "had y'all bought a cheaper car seat, we'd be having a completely different conversation." Nothing more needed to be said. We have 2 of these, one for my now 3 year old and we just got a second for my 1 year old. They are both super comfy in them, to the point they can both easily sleep. My 3 year old can still ride backwards which I really like (I believe she’s at a threshold where the child can be front or backwards facing, so you can choose). I don’t personally ever take the car seats in and out of the car, but when my husband does, he is able to take out and put back in really quickly and I easily. The pink color is really pretty but it will show dirt after awhile so you have to be ok with that, or I’d recommend a darker color. I feel like they keep my babies really safe and secure! ... show more
