I have tried so many espresso blends for my Breville Barista espresso machine and this is finally the one that I find gets the best pressure and pull quality. I love the taste of Lavazza Super Crema but I'm always stuffing as much in as possible to get the right pressure and changing the grind never seemed to work either. From the first pull of this Peet's I not only noticed delicious full flavor but also I needed minimal adjusting to get an awesome pull right in the optimal pressure range for the optimal duration. Over the years we have tried many different coffee brands. I enjoy my coffee dark roast without cream or sugar, so the flavor of the coffee isn't masked by other additives.It has a robust flavor without the bitterness of some dark roast coffee's.We usually get whole bean but the ground is good as well. Peet's is a favorite in our house, so I keep it on hand by subscribing from Amazon.com. We love it no matter how it's brewed. Friends and family have also enjoyed Peet's when they try at our home. Amazon.com's price makes it easier on the budget as well.

Peet's French Roast has become my favorite. Richness and flavor suite my taste nearly perfectly. My only hesitations are (1) Availability from Amazon has been uneven over the past six months. That's problematic with a subscription because half the time it's listed as out of stock, which means I need to buy from an alternative source. Secondly, the coffee from Amazon has, in my experience, been within 3-4 weeks of freshness expiration. While ordering directly from Peet's, while more expensive, has resulted in coffee no less than 2 months from expiration.
