White smoke hangs down as the glistening beans turn ebony. This is Starbucks French Roast coffee, and you can’t roast it darker. Straightforward, light-bodied with low acidity, and immensely popular since 1971, our darkest roast is adored for its intense smokiness. Nestlé uses Starbucks trademarks under license.

So good and lasted longer than I thought so I would say the value for the money is great. I honestly prefer my coffee machine with these beans than going to a Starbucks or Dunkin.

I usually don’t buy Starbucks coffee at either their retail stores or online however I became so frustrated with Amazon peddling coffees as dark roast when in fact, they were medium roast. So with my past experience with Starbucks, I bought French roast coffee and sure enough. It’s dark roast beans are glistening they’re oily and the coffee taste good. I had gone through five different coffees, whole beans saying that they were dark roast and went. In fact they were not they were medium roast. I knew that Starbucks would be a true dark roast coffee and it is. Amazon used to sell a dark roast under their own label. It was whole bean. The price was phenomenal and it was a great dark rose coffee, but they discontinued it for some stupid reason so I’ve been on a quest ever since so caveat emptor. ... show more
