I love these inserts! I started having foot pain during distance horseback riding, snowshoeing and hiking. I purchased my first pair of these years ago and have used them in all my footwear (except sandals) since then. My feet do not hurt when I wear these, if I forget to put them in I know it! I have both the thinner, leather version, good for dress/casual shoes and the thicker, sports version for riding and snow/hiking boots. The thin ones fit in shoes that are my size, I size size up my boots to allow space for the thicker ones.

I just got a brand new pair of Adidas Five Ten Freerider riding shoes and they hurt my feet SO bad! I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in, but now I have over 100 miles of riding and they STILL hurt my feet when I was done. Great for the ride, horrible afterwards. ANYWAY, just got these, slipped them in, and after a 15 mile ride, I'm able to get off the bike and WALK! Not just walk, but walk with no pain! Absolute godsend for my feet! Riding shoes are important, making sure they are well supported, even MORE important!

I first bought W11 or EU41 because I read that they run small and I usually wear a woman's size 10 1/2 shoe. The EU 41 was too small, but thankfully my daughter was able to use them for her work shoes. I ordered the W12 or EU42 next, and those were almost perfect. They're still a smidgen shy of the sport shoe I'm using them in, but probably better than going up one more size and having to cut it back. They are good insoles. I just wish there was more cushion to them, but I feel that way about all insoles. I have ultra high arches so these don't give me complete arch support, but they're a lot better than many other insoles which claim to be for high arches. I do see that this brand does have another insole which appear to be for high arches, so I might try those next. I'm using these for playing pickleball and so far they do a good job of keeping my knees from hurting. Give them a try. You can always return them.

I have quite a collection of orthotic insoles due to the need for more arch support, metatarsal support, and plantar fasciitis where the standard insoles any shoe comes with is very inadequate. I love the Pedag Viva Sport but I also like Pedag Viva leather, Pedag Viva Winter, the PowerStep Protech Control Pro, and the New Balance Motion Control. The Powerstep is the best choice for people that need a rigid arch but has limited cushioning. The New Balance is by far the best for added cushioning and shock control but is too thick for many shoes but are in all my sneakers. The Pedag Viva leather is super thin so can fit in shoes where others wont work but still provides quality semi rigid support. The Pedag Viva winter is ideal for insulated boots, skates, ski boots, winter cycling, or to add warmth to any shoe as it is also very thin but little cushioning. The Pedag Viva Sport is really in the middle of these features where it is fairly thin, provides decent cushioning, and adequate arch and metatarsal support. They also are very comfortable where you don't notice them over the OEM insoles other than the additional support.. Note that these work for many more situations than just sports as they are superb for casual wear and even dress shoes if they fit in. I also like Superfeet for edge control in ski boots but their metatarsal support does not work for me for long term use and they have almost no cushioning to aid walking or hiking. Also, for bicycling, the Specialized insoles are also excellent and can be used for other applications plus you can get them in 3 levels of arch support. Oh, and the Viva insoles cost much less than other quality insoles so are extreme values and tghey wear well too. Being winter presently, I mostly use my Goretex sneakers and boots right now with the Viva WInter insoles in them. My feet never get cold and I don't over sweat either.

I have 3 different models, walking, running and winter kinda boots. Fits perfectly. Shoes 10.5 and this one 10 then fits ok. I have completely flat feet, and when I wear this one it feels like I don’t have any problems. Very comfortable.

(A) I purchased Pedag insoles - with built in metatarsal pads - for all footwear, to obviate the need to constantly remove insoles with metatarsal pads from one pair of footwear and insert in a different pair. I like the Viva Sport as it fits in both jogging footwear, casual footwear and some dress footwear. I also use the Viva Outdoor in my hiking Boots. 1) they have been an effective aid to relief of pain associated with metatarsalgia (2) I developed metatarsalgia (second toe ) and upon installing the pad, experienced immediate relief, and resumed hiking and walking the dogs. (3) But, neither the Pedag Insole nor the Pedag Metatarsal Pad are a panacea - metatarsalgia can require reduced stress on foot, i.e., reduced activity ( I terminated jogging for 3 months ) (4) the use of a metatarsal pad and/or insole with built-in metatarsal pad,and proper arch support, should be worn a majority of the day. (5) I placed Pedag insoles with built-in metatarsal pad in all my footwear (6) I installed Pedag Viva Sport insole in a pair of old jogging shoes that i washed and cleaned, to be worn exclusively in the house ( I don't wear footwear in the house, but for this one exception ) (7) The Pedag Viva Sport and Viva Outdoor insoles, were both comfortable for both feet, while T-Form metatarsal pad was more comfortable for my feet than the Pedag Drop, (although my feet adjusted & I continue to use the Pedag Drop) - all providing a degree of relief to the symptoms of metatarsalgia. Seeking professional medical care is recommended, as the first response to any medical issue; in context to this review - a licensed , Podiatrist, and / or a Primary Care Physician. Refer to the respective reviews I submitted for the Pedag T-Form and Pedag Drop metatarsal pads for my experience.
