This has been indispensable around the house and shop for more than just my initial reason for purchasing(wood working). I have an old school precision caliper that was my grandfather's but it is only really as good as your eyesight... the hashmarks are TINY! This caliper with digital display makes it so much easier and quicker to take measurements and the ability to switch between , decimals, fractions and mm makes it all the better. Saves the hassle of converting measurements. It seems to be well built and I paid the extra money to get the IP67 version , just in case, but I havent needed to put that feature to an unexpected test.

I have run into no issues with these calipers, and used them on a good number of projects. I've seen no evidence of error or inaccuracy. The digital display simplifies reading the results, but does come with the complication of needing batteries. I've not yet needed to replace the one it came with.

Excellent value for money. I've been using this to measure items in the field to make replacement parts in a 3-d printer. I love not having to worry about small amounts of water ruining the calipers. The case is appropriately sized, protective and the only thing that I wish it had is a dedicated spot for the ruler that came with it. The display and buttons are super easy to use and clear.

I don't believe these calipers were made in the USA for a couple of reasons. First, the instructions contained poorly worded English. Secondly, "USA" was not stamped on the device itself as required. I didn't return the item on the off chance they were made in the USA bit also because I needed the calipers. Time will tell I suppose.

Made in the USA. Top quality at a very reasonable price. I’m in total agreement with the other reviewers. You would pay 3 or 4 times the price of this caliper going with either of the two brands that pretty much set the standard.
