I honestly didn’t expect much when I ordered this digital caliper — just needed something cheap and functional for some light garage and DIY work. But I was really surprised by how solid and accurate it is right out of the box. The stainless steel body feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some budget tools. The digital display is clear and easy to read, and the measurements have been consistently accurate within the tolerances I need. I even double-checked it against a couple of higher-end calipers, and it held up impressively well. It also came with a decent storage case and an extra battery, which was a nice touch. Great set of calipers that offered measurements in fractions which made measuring hoses and fittings measurements just a little bit easier. I gave it only 4 stars because it ships with a battery installed with no isolation so the battery is toast by the time you get it. Thought that mine was defective at first because the measurements were all over the place but a quick check of the manual explicitly states that that is a sign of a weak battery. Changed with the included new battery and everything was spot on from there!

These are a great value. The display is easy to read and the measurements are consistent. It is thin but strong. It functions exactly like is should. The measurements seem exact. It is easy to use the buttons to zero the device and change units of measurement. It even comes with a battery in it and two spares. It comes in a decent hard plastic case wrapped in plastic.

Great kit for the price. Easy to use and read. I really appreciate the spare batteries in the case and the tool to swap them. This is a quality instrument right out of the box. The stainless steel construction provides a very stable platform. We'll see how it holds up! So far so good, it's stable and consistent. The unit turns itself on when you roll the slode wheel. It is a pleasure to use and I am really enjoying it!!!
