So far I love these, the screen is big, clear and easy to read. They seem to be exceptionally accurate and have the two big features I like on calipers, the wheel for fine adjustments and the screw to lock it in place. If I had to pick a negative it's that they are fairly heavy and that could be annoying if your doing something that requires a lighter caliper. I haven't had a problem at all but it was something to note. The case it comes with is just a normal plastic case but it's a nice touch to keep them pristine. It was a nice auto turn on thing, you can easily adjust it, kinda have to break it in using it, it got some weight to it, but the edges are kinda sharp feeling. It's very easy to use. It comes in it's own blue case, with some replacement batterys. It's easy to zero it and turn off, over all performance is great, it's made from stainless steel, so the overall quality is great👍 ... show more

If you had presented this caliper to me and told me it sold for over $100, I would have believed you. It is that good. There is no slop in the mechanism and all edges are machined to precision. The finish is lightly brushed stainless steel with luster about and no really noticeable plastics other than the display itself. The battery compartment is retained by screws instead of the plastic housing that one would expect for a device of this price. The feel of the caliper imparts quality and attention to detail. In terms of accuracy, know that I’m not an engineer or one who routinely works with demanding tolerances but I can say that I checked the caliper against some consumer standards such as feeler gauges, 1-2-3 blocks and metal height set-up blocks for a router table and the caliper’s agreement with those layman standards was dead-on accurate. Solid, hefty feel. Comfortable to hold and use. The display is clear and easy to read. A backlit display would be nice, but at this price point I don't expect one. Came with an installed battery and two extras. Also includes a magnetized screwdriver that fits the screws on the battery box cover. It has its own space in the tool's case which is a thoughtful extra feature. The thumbwheel fine adjustment works pretty well even though it's a loose fit and flops around disconcertingly when not in use. All in all, an excellent value for hobbyist use. ... show more

I was surprised at how well made these were, especially at the price I paid. I wish I had bought this years ago. Calipers really are the only way to accurately measure many things, like pipe diameters. I would, however, recommend, removing the battery for storage. I left mine in and it was completely dead after a couple of months. Not sure if there is a drainage problem, even when off, or if it was a problem with the battery.
