As a Minnesotan, I grew up eating the iconic Pearson's Salted Nut Roll. It's easily a top three of my favorite candy bars. It has a complex taste compared to other candy bars (salty, savory, and sweet) with an amazing texture. The only way I like to buy it is by bulk - easier on the pocket, but harder on my waist line. :)

My package had a medium tear at the top however, all 24 bars were present and accounted for. The bars are delicious with lots of nuts which are high in protein and give you energy! They are a bit expensive. But worth it! The nougat center tastes great with the outer nut covering. I really wanted the giant size but they weren’t available. Very good value and I highly recommend!!

Very tasty. The peanuts were crunchy and fresh as was the nougat. The expiration date was a year away. The only con is, as others have stated, the box was a bit crushed. The packaging was just the Amazon envelope no protection against smashing. Only a few bars were affected and not really a problem. The box was still sealed well. Based on the freshness of this order I would order again. UPDATE I ordered a 2nd box and the candy was very fresh with a year out for best use by date. This order was triple boxed. 1st in the original candy box, then in a USPS medium box then in a large usps box. It was a bit of overkill but I think that was because of so many bad reviews on the candy box getting smashed. the 2nd box would have been enough. I appreciate the seller upgrading packaging.

I love these and eat way too many of them. They've always been a little bit hard to find, a lot of stores don't have them, or sometimes have extremely stale ones that have probably been there for years. I finally got tired of that and decided to start ordering them here about 6 months ago... and I have gone through an alarming number of boxes already. It's amazing that I haven't gotten sick of them. They are perfect for any time: when you have a sweet tooth, or the munchies, or if you need a quick shot of protein to keep you moving. I bring some to work, and eat a couple if I don't feel like stopping for a full lunch. Just my luck.... as soon as I start ordering them online, it seems like this supply may be dwindling too. Please tell me they are not phasing these out. If they aren't selling enough, it's a failure of marketing. Maybe change the name and the package, but don't you dare stop making these. I don't know what I would do, going back to Payday or Baby Ruth just wouldn't be the same.

I had these shift overnight so it isn't like I've had him 6 months and they went hard as a rock but this piercing Salt did not roll candy bars are as hard as a damn rock I took one out of the package couldn't bite into it so I threw it on the floor and the dog grabbed it and started chewing on it he thinks it's a damn bone he could even break the surface I was hoping he didn't break his teeth so I have to take him to the vet but there should be laws against selling outdated and hard candy that only knows what else is wrong with them on the inside. I normally love Amazon and I've always thought of them as a rapido business but I'm a little put off that they claim these salted nut rolls are not eligible for return they're outdated their heart is a rock and you're selling them but won't take them back I don't understand that maybe somebody can reach out to me thank you.
