I didn't read the description very close until after ordering these Kit Kats because the price was far less than all others on Amazon. This was NOT a PRIME Amazon product nor was it shipped by Amazon. If you read carefully it says, If shipped by Amazon it will have a cool pack. This was shipped free by the seller and they did not include a cool pack which was their right to ship the way they wanted. The box of 36 Kit Kats was shipped in a very well labeled and good strong box. Shipping took about a week which had me in a panic since this is the middle of Summer and a heatwave so its doubtful a cool pack would have done any good. On receiving the package I placed it quickly, overnight in the frig before opening. Inside the seller's box was the manufacturers boxed and packaged Kit Kats so they were well protected. When I opened a pack the wafered chocolate it was solid and tasted great. I ordered these 7/2026 and the freshness date is 7/2027! The seller did as best they could to send a quality product well packaged. Had they arrived a melted mess it would not have been their fault but mostly my own for taking a risky chance the candy wouldn't be a melted mess. I was lucky and did the right thing by refrigerating them immediately on receiving. ... show more

Things to remember… 1- take the weather into account, if it’s hot they will melt. 2- be careful ordering with other items, Amazon threw mine in with heavy items and crushed one of them. Other than that, enjoy!
