Perfect for my 6 month old who will not lay back in her newborn tub anymore. The only downside is the bottom edge of the plastic that goes behind their back and around to their armpits is the tiniest bit sharp on the bottom. But if you are careful and aware of it when taking them out it is fine.

My baby did not want to lay in her baby bath anymore and would protest during bath time by holding the sides and maintaining a crunch position for minutes at a time. It was impressive, but she wasn’t able to sit up on her own long enough to take a bath. This seat gave my baby the freedom to sit up and made bath time more enjoyable for her! This is great for a tub that doesn't have a smooth bottom. The only issue is that I have a garden tub (I know it says not to use this in tubs that aren't rectangular) and the rear arm/suction cup doesn't work because my tub has an angle exactly where the suction cup goes. But, I don't think that rear arm is even necessary. I used the two side arms, alone, and they were so tight, my husband couldn't move the seat. I really like that the rubber bottom has holes for water and nothing hard under it, so it's more comfortable for the baby's bup. (That's not a typo.) My three-month-old has ALWAYS hated baths. We've tried the tub, with me in it, the flower, the angled chair thing that the baby lays in, a small separate tub, and this is the ONLY thing that didn't make him cry. In fact, we stayed in the water for at least 30 minutes. I could put little toys, like an orange ping pong ball, within the boundary of the seat so he can grab it. He seemed to have a pretty good time and only cried when I took him out of the water. He wasn't cold, I have a space heater going and the doors shut. So, it's possible he wanted back in, for the first time ever. I even stood him up so he could kick the water and he sat himself back down putting his feet through the leg holes, so by himself. All in all, I'm going to try to see if I can remove the rear arm because it take up too much space and is useless. But, I really love this seat and, it seems, my LO does too. ... show more

Perfect. I didn't want to spend so much money on a bath tub for the baby but we got a different brand sit me up seat that didn't help baby sit in it at all, this design is impressive. Definitely worth the money, best invention ever
