These cost approximately $1.50+ locally, from Amazon they are $0.88 a bar for 36 bar state tax takes a few cents.) They arrived in a box packed with 3 cooler bags, insulated walls, top and bottom. Not a chunk of melted chocolate! Why the concern? We live in a U.S.A. state with a warm desert. We once forgot and left some chocolate in our car. They melted into a chocolate, hard and solid chunk. It is chocolate, so if you're in a very warm climate you might want to refrigerate upon receipt so your candy can firm up. I sent this as a gift to Texas, my son said they were a little melty, but still yummy.

Chocolate did not arrive in a box, instead the bars were loose in a plastic bag and about half of them were broken. They are not expired and taste ok, they just did not arrive as presented in the photo.
