Works great, an overall good fit, stays put, quite cool on a hot day and sweat wicks quickly. Only potential complaint (more like whining) is the rubber band on the upper end which holds the arm bands from slipping. I guess product folks decided this was a better way to go, but I did enjoy the older versions of these arm sleeves without the rubber band. Much more comfortable, and they also seemed to stay on since I usually slipped them under the jersey sleeves. AND they were easier to pull down if you wanted feel the breeze a bit. Really good quality sleeves. I can barely feel them on my arms. Just the right amount of compression. The length is true to size. Definitely keeps the sun off. My first two rides were both 3+ hour rides (48 miles and 76 miles) in 96F heat in bright sunshine with 80-85% humidity. These sleeves definitely did what they were supposed to - protect my arms.     • Great Sun Sleeves - Cool Protection without Compression

I recently moved to the desert Southwest and love to spent time outdoors hiking and biking. I needed a pair of lightweight sun sleeves that provide good coverage, but are cool without being super tight and confining. I've purchased several other brands of sun sleeves that feel like my arms are stuffed into sausage casings. These Pearl Izumi sun sleeves give great coverage without providing much compression, exactly as I had hoped. In my experience, Pearl Izumi sizing runs small. I measured the diameter around my biceps and, following the size chart, could have chosen either XS or S. I went with the size Small. The upper elastic band is a comfortable fit and could even have been a bit more snug, so I think the sizing chart is accurate. These sleeves also feel a bit more durable than my other pairs. I am a 71 y.o. 5ft. 8 inch man weighing 162 pounds. I have slender but muscular arms (upper arm circumference is 12.5 inches). The medium size fits me fine.
