But she’s just starting out so I figured I just get something a little less expensive before we started spending bigger money. I looked at the reviews and this seemed to be OK. Well, worth the price. Easy to assemble. She’s been writing it now for the last three weeks with no issues. Seems like it’s very good quality. Very happy with the bike. I purchased 2 Vefreedom e-bikes. Setup was pretty easy. One of the bike’s wire to the headlight was cut so I had to splice that, which is easy if you are handy. The bikes are fun to ride and have enough power for our need of cruising around a flat island. I found myself sitting at the back of the seat and feeling a bit cramped. I’m 6’3”. My wife was fine with the fit. I had high hopes for these bikes, but after a couple of weeks of light use, my bike stopped turning on. Since I have two bikes, I was able to swap the batteries and test several of things, like the wiring but no luck. I contacted the manufacturer via their Custer support email in their website and the email bounced back. I don’t think the company exists any more. Amazon did grant me the right to return it, but I have to package it back up and pay to send it back. That is probably going to cost half as much as I paid for it. I was hoping for at least some troubleshooting tips or a replacement part, but no such thing exists. I guess you do get what you pay for. I’m curious to see how long my wife’s bike lasts. ... show more

This bike is so much fun to ride. I bought it just to get some exercise and have fun. I thought my bike riding days were over because my driveway is too steep to ride up like when I was younger, but this bike allows me to get up the drive with no problem. I rode 18 miles today and it was a blast but the best part was being able to go up that steep driveway effortlessly. On the roads it goes up hills great at about 16mph. On a straight way it gets up to 20+ mph. It is sturdy and goes on the dirt and gravel roads very well. Delivery was great. Two days early! Nice! This bike is also very quiet and the seat is comfortable. The step-through style is really wonderful. I love it. I would definitely recommend this bike. ... show more

I love this bike more than life itself. I ride it almost everyday and average 15 to 25 miles each day! I’m 69 years old and weigh 130. I feel like I am flying. I like that I can get a great workout even with a little boost now again. I will say it is not your normal bike. It is very heavy and sometimes hard to navigate sharp turns.
