  • If you want the best backpack, this is it.
Size: 30L Color: Charcoal
I travel a lot for work and had great experience with Samsonite, but decided to give this a try. It is expensive but this is probably the best backpack for the money. Pros: - Feature packed, from the side carrying handles to the clever luggage pass thru, magnetic pockets inside - Lots of clever design like the side opening and option to strap things externally - Internal organizing shelves are great for keeping things organized and not shuffled around - Storage capacity is great, it'll hold my laptop and ipad easily. Even the bottle holder will hold a 40oz thermoflask - Looks professional but not boring - Comfortable, the straps are adjustable and on a swing hinge instead of a fixed point - Water resistance appears to be good, I have not exposed it to downpours yet - Material are high quality, and seems to be well put together. Looks like it'll last a long time Cons: - It is expensive ... show more

  • Everything I need in a camera bag
Size: 30L Color: Charcoal
This camera bag is all that and a bag of chips. It’s well thought out, very well made and easy to organize. Even the packaging was impressive. I love the origami dividers, they really help customize and fit more in this bag nice and snug with no worry of anything scratching something else or moving around. I regularly go on mountain trips where I’m either wearing my camera bag for long periods of time hiking and standing, or have it in the car and need to grab a lens or two in record speed to not miss a wildlife shot. This bag will make that even easier with the top access and the two sides. I appreciate the magnetic close features, no more stuff falling out accidentally, plenty of separated spaces for extra batteries, filters, lens cleaner or other accessories. The only thing I don’t love is the texture of the bag. It’s durable and sturdy but a little rough to the touch so might attract more dust. But I bought this for the function and it’ll deliver, so I can live with that and maybe it’ll soften in texture with all the use it’ll see ... show more

  • Perfect drone + camera bag
Size: 30L Color: Charcoal
I normally don’t carry backpacks, but needed something to handle my DJI Mavic 3 Classic, Mavic 3 Mini as well as Nikon D850 and multiple batteries, cables, chargers, etc. Well designed and easy to pack and carry!

  • A few things I miss for an EveryDay carry, but as a double for a photo travel bag seems great.
Size: 30L Color: Charcoal
Long review for those that are considering this bag. The TLDR version is it’s a very well built, nicely tailored bag that can double as an everyday bag and a camera/small drone carry bag quite well. That said, if you only need a typical office bag this probably isn’t it IMHO, especially at this price. (more details below for those interested). -- I recently needed to replace my several-year-old Incase everyday backpack that had served me well but was starting to delaminate. I wanted a decent everyday bag I could carry to work with my large 16-inch laptop and the stuff I needed every day while also being able to double a camera and accessory bag on our bi-yearly vacations/trips. I no longer wanted to try and carry 2 backpacks to do that, and our camera kit had outgrown my small, single strap LowePro backpack that had also served us well for almost 10 years. However, it only had to carry a Canon T3i, the kit lens, a modest zoom, a Nifty Fifty, and the needed accessories. My new camera kit consists of a Canon R6 MkII and a few lenses: the large lens is the RF 24-240 Superzoom along with a couple of small fixed primes (50mm and 85mm). In addition, I have an on-camera flash unit and the usual other camera stuff (strap, batteries, etc.). Overall, the camera kit has grown by about 50% in size and weight. So the hunt was on for a new bag to try and do both when needed. I looked at a LOT of other bags, which is harder than it should be in the online generation we live in, but this is one place a good shop with a wide selection would have been preferred to online reviews and Amazon. Lots of love out there for the WANDRD PRVKE and a few others from LowePro and the like, but not much in the crossover space I needed. I’m also a working tech professional, so I wanted something that would blend in with the office environment, look good, and not look like a tactical bag. I ended up settling on this bag in the 30L size after also trying out the 20L. I really wanted the external size of the 20L, but clearly with space closer to the roominess of the 30L in the end. The PD videos also really helped me in the end focus in on which size to keep by watching their load out videos. Most of the YouTube reviews, honestly, were click bait garbage. Marques Brownlee has a pretty honest review of the 20L that’s worth a watch. In the end, if you don't need to carry a camera or other gear like compact drones at some point, I'm honestly not sure this bag is a great choice depending on your needs. As an everyday bag I think there are some honest deficiencies in this bag that might steer you another direction, namely being that it has almost NO internal places for pens, pockets for cables, etc. etc. unless you want to let them fly around, use some of the small, non-customized internal pockets for pens, etc., or you are okay with spending the extra $60 on their Tech Pouch. I did, but I have camera gear extras, and it’s the same high quality, but overkill for just a modest number of accessories you probably need for a commute. If I just needed a day bag for a laptop, check out the Marques review of the 20L to get a good idea if it might work for you. A couple notes about the 20L: In the end the 20L, even for an everyday bag without the camera, was just a bit too tight for my needs. My laptop, a 15.5” HP Z book, pushed the laptop area capacity to the point of making it hard to use the other combined areas, the water bottle pocket on the size is honestly too small for even my modest 750mL Camelbak (it kept slipping out, especially when turned sideways to get in a side pocket), and the inside spaces just compromised too much volume when full which I'll note below in the 30L review as well. If I was trying to carry even a modest, collapsible tripod I don’t think I’d like the 20L at all short of trying to lash it to the outside. The pockets are just that shallow in my opinion. Anyhow, I've had it a few days now after carrying both and here's my summary after a few days. I have a trip coming up in late June so I’ll try to remember and come back and update this after that first trip. The Good: - it’s very well built - it's weatherproof without a rain poncho to mess with - it's expandable/shrinkable on top - the zippers are great and super high quality - magnet closures are everywhere to help keep pockets closed, straps in place, etc - the space inside is super useful and you can set it up the way you want - lash points are everywhere and it comes with built in lashing straps - carry straps on every topside and a luggage passthrough - has a super useful tether for your keys or some other device - the inside is lined with generally soft material for your gear - 30L is a really generous space, more than enough unless you need a weekend packing bag - It’s fairtrade certified, so you can feel good knowing that the people that made your bag are (hopefully) being paid a livable wage in good working conditions - They have vegan versions for those that don’t want the modest touches of leather The things to know (so far): - The fabric, being weatherproof, is not soft or very pliable - Their idea of a mirrorless camera with 4-5 lenses has to be for something like a Leica or a Fuji compact. If you have a mirrorless full frame, figure it’s probably more like a DSLR in their sizing unless you carry mostly small prime lenses. - All the internal pockets are nice, but they are just general pockets (some have smaller internal pockets). If you like things like pen organizers, etc. you might be disappointed - The top opening to the first origami shelf is wide open – no dividers, pockets, etc. Everything that goes in the top just uses up your top shelf. - Since the outside is sort of stiff, ALL the internal pockets bulge into internal space. If you need that extra room in the big area the pockets will encroach. This includes the soft pocket on the top in the laptop case which eats into the top space and the side pockets which put into the interior space. - They advertised the top pocket as ‘glasses friendly’. Maybe for a pair of plastic sunglasses, but no way I’m putting my prescription glasses or sunglasses in there with everything else floating around in the bag. - The internal zippers are metal, and while they have a place to tuck them to hide them, I can see for large, sensitive items like touch screens how they could be a problem with jostling - The sternum strap is very hard to remove (assuming it can be, I haven’t tried) - Let’s be honest, it’s pricey, as are most of the accessories if you need them - In the 20L, a 16” laptop uses up a LOT of the useful space in the laptop compartment - Strap covers on everything EXCEPT for the shoulder strap cables, which just seems odd that there is no way to hide them Things I can’t comment on just yet: - Strap comfort on long travel days - Back breathability on long travel days - How well it fits under the seat in front of me on a plane (I’m guessing poorly in the 30L size) ... show more

  • Contents not accessible while wearing on one arm; Dividers not useful enough
Size: 30L Color: Charcoal
As far as I can tell, this backpack is not intended to allow you to access its contents while wearing it on one arm. When you do so and rotate the backpack around to access either side flap, the hinge for the flap faces you, so you get flap in your face. This issue is made worse by the backpack's straps encouraging wearing the backpack very high; read on for more about that. You also have to move the side zipper quite far to get the flap to open enough to pull out a camera or a piece of gear. I had to reach around to the point of strain to close the zipper. Even if you don't move the zipper out of reach, the flap is sturdy enough that it will move the zipper out of comfortable reach for you. The dividers can be used horizontally or vertically, and they have the flippy bits which are nice, but they only come in one size and can't attach to each other, so placement options are ultimately quite limited. The backpack's straps rubbed on my neck unless I wore it very high on my back. I think I could get used to this aspect, but I could not tolerate the backpack's other shortcomings and had to return it. ... show more

  • This bag makes travel bearable
Size: 30L Color: Charcoal
I don't use this bag to haul around cameras or equipment. I use this bag as my carry-on when I travel. It has so much room, is comfortable, stylish, and I feel safe walking around in crowds with it. I wish it were cheaper, but I wouldn't want to skimp on the quality
