I love this controller. I use it on both my gaming laptop and and my desktop PC when needed. The construction is very solid and I have never had an issue with the movement sticks or the buttons not working right. It's great that it has a detachable USB cord in the controller itself, and never needing to charge it is fantastic. I've had great gaming performance with it over time, it would definitely buy again for myself if needed or as a gift. Genuinely an amazing buy. I had my doubts since the last time I bought from PDP the product didn't last even a month before breaking (bummer, the design was really cool), but this controller has outlasted others. I use it for YouTube on my Xbox and for playing games on my computer when I don't feel like struggling with a keyboard and mouse, and I've had no issues whatsoever. Plus the glow in the dark design is absolutely awesome. If you'd ask me to name a problem with this controller, I'd say there are none. This is THE controller to get.

I brought this third-party Xbox controller because the controller that came with the Xbox Series S, the LB button stopped working. And apparently, this controller is suppose to glow in the dark, but it doesn't and I don't know how to get to glow in the dark.

Nice clicks on buttons and it's pretty sturdy I dropped mines twice but it does feel cheap so I wouldn't drop it on purpose I got lucky mine dropped on carpet both times update: 3 months in serval more klutz like drops later and it still works but now sometime I gotta tap a button twice so it's definitely worth the buy if it's a quick controller for kids or a klutz prone adult like myself.

The only thing making this product not a scam is that they actually send you a controller. Yeah it is a controller with back buttons, but does it work? Short answer, no. You would expect a product in this price point would be decent but not this one. First of all, the struggle I had getting both my computer and EVEN THE PDP SOFTWARE ITSELF, to recognize my controller, which involved multiple restarts and redownloads to even get a chance at working, it was terrible. Secondly, the button mapping straight up does not work... like it just doesn't. There no option to save the settings through the program or somehow confirm changes, and when you click to a different tab in the software, it RESETS all the button mapping. So the advertised software (which makes you create an account with them through your email so they can get your information) doesn't even work with the controller. Thirdly, the actual PDP software is so bad and it seems incomplete like these people scrapped this program together as quick as they could to start selling these. For some reason you get an option to adjust the deadzone, and when you click into that tab THERES NO OPTION TO ADJUST THE DEAD ZONE. Only options to flip the sticks or mirror the deadzone. There is not a slider to adjust the deadzone for either the analog sticks or the triggers. Now that was just the technical issues. Physically, this controller is terrible. After loading up a game of X Defiant I already noticed a SEVERE stick drift, and I just got this today. The material of the controller and buttons feel very cheap especially the D-Pad. And the back buttons are very awkward on this controller unlike others. I decided to return this controller within an hour of delivery... let that sink in. If you are considering buying this, DO NOT!!!!!!! spend your money on something better or just buy a scuff. This was definitely a learning experience for me as I should stick to trusted brands and not try to go for the cheap made stuff.

TL/DR - Controller works alright for solo play but controller doesn't run chat properly and the headset doesn't seem to work properly either. Also, no Gamepass included if you saw that on the pics of the box here on the site. I ordered this thinking that it would be a really good deal overall. A wired controller with built in chat controls featuring a fairly unique glow in the dark design, a headset with a flip up mute and the same design, and (according to the pics of the box on the site) a month of Xbox Gamepass Ultimate for 54? Pretty solid deal overall. First thing when I received it, I noticed no mention of Gamepass on the box and no card inside, so that was out right away. True, there wasn't a mention of it in the description, I noticed after I had gotten it in, but the promo pics still showed it so I was really think it was part of the package. I mentioned it to Amazon and received a small discount, that was cool of Amazon to do. Next I got the controller out and played with it. For the most part, all of it worked really well. My only real complaint with the actual gameplay side of the controller is that the control pad feels thick and mushy, not clicky and responsive like a standard Microsoft controller. Not a deal breaker by any means, but doesn't feel quite right after so much time with the other controllers. The control pad also controls the volume with the use of the audio button. This is a great idea, easily hold the audio button down and use the d-pad for volume up and down, and for increasing chat or game volume. This to me was great because I tend to use the audio adaptors for this purpose and this eliminated that need. One problem though, no headset I have tried through the controller has worked. My voice is apparently so low that no one I have played with has been able to hear me. So I have no idea how well the volume adjusting works, other than for turning up or down the overall volume. The headset itself is relatively comfortable, seems fairly durable, and game sound comes through just fine. However, the voice chat on this doesn't seem to work, or work well at least, either. When I have used it on a regular Xbox controller, I'm told my voice is quiet, choppy, and has static. Bummer. The pc app that you use to customize the controls seems to work well. I was able to set up the paddles on the back to the controls I wanted easily. The app seemed to act up when I tried to fix some of the audio issues though. Again, not certain if my controller is a lemon or if this is something across all of these controllers, but disappointing never the less. And, it's a small thing, but the glow in the dark paint job... doesn't glow in the dark. At all. I am using the controller and headset for when I'm playing solo and it does the job, that's why I gave this 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. It keeps me from having to swap out batteries as often and will put less wear on my standard Xbox controllers. However if you're looking to buy this deal for the obvious purpose of voice chat with the controller and headset, I can not recommend it... because it doesn't work. Now, I'd like to believe that it'll work for other people with their controllers, but that just hasn't been my experience.
