Bought these for my 10 year old nephew for Christmas and he said they work really well. He had been talking about his friends that had headsets for a few months and we thought it would be a perfect gift. Now we can chat when we play games together and he gets a kick out of it.

For $10, it's ok. but the speakers sounded too muddy, to be useful. Oddly enough, they have ok deep bass, but the lack of clarity in the mids and highs is very disappointing. They are comfortable, but look silly when wearing. The boom microphone is very good. Alternative: The switch earbud pro's (similar sound/mic to the turtle beach battle buds). These have superior speaker sound (bass, mids, treble). They share the same boom microphone, which is very good. For $10, it's good, but not good enough. ... show more
