I really love how sturdy this thing is! Super easy to put together .... did it in 30 mins. I weigh 115-117 lbs and I laid down as heavily as I could on the bed after putting his mattress on it and checked to see if it sank in, made noise, or moved from the spot I put it on the floor..... it did none of these. I think you can attach a headboard to it. I just left it in case my 11 y.o. decides he wants a particular headboard on it when he's older. It also has quite a bit of space from the floor to the bottom of the bed if you ever need to store something under it. I'd buy this again for sure. ... show more

A lot of the reviews mention that it’s easy to assemble and doesn’t take long however I found that to be only somewhat true. I would say assembly definitely needs two people. My daughter had to help me with this and it took us almost an hour or so to finally get it all together. One of the bars had trouble sliding in place and got stuck. It nearly cut us when trying to pull it out. The instructions are easy to read and understand and it comes with all the tools and parts you need. You won’t need additional tools. I’ve had it now for a few months and have no complaints. It’s easy to move and I love it’s height. It was a bit out of my price range but if price isn’t an issue this is the one to go with. ... show more

I have one arm and unfolded this bed in a few minutes mind you I haven't screwed the halves together yet but I put my old mattress on it (it's a japanese floormat I got on amazon I have a real mattress coming today and I'll put that on top of it) It was quiet when I moved around and I put regular sized boxes of medical supplies underneath. I love it so far but I also was sleeping on the floor lol. Maybe I wont screw the halves together. Plus side itllmake 2 great twin beds! Oh for $106.00 this is my best investment since my car! Week update love it! Was worried about feeling bars through the mattress so I put my japanese floormat under my mattress which is a thin type memory foam. I love that this bed feels solid no creaking as my other metal frame did yet is so light and easy to move. Great frame! ... show more

I’m rating this 5 stars because it is a good bed frame! It’s tall, sturdy, and looks as advertised. We have a purple mattress on it (Queen sized) and with that weight combined with ours, it’s about 400+ lbs and it doesn’t make a peep. However, we did just assemble it so we’ll see how it holds up. Don’t be fooled by the other reviews or the “ quick “ and “ easy “ assembly mentioned in the advert. This thing was a pain to get together from just opening the packaging to putting the slats in. We had to use all our strength to put the slats in place, it took two of us to get the frame together, and we were sweating by the end due to the sheer amount of force we had to exert. I’m not sure why it ended up like that, maybe there’s distortion where the slats slide in, but boy are they in there. You cannot just pick the entire frame up, though, some parts can slip right out due to the click-in assembly. But who just grabs an entire frame to move it? Edit Dec. 2023: a little over a year has passed since this purchase and it’s still great! No noise, no problems, and we can store a lot of stuff under it. My only complaint is that the mattress slides off of it ever so slightly. ... show more
