I bought this because the brick that comes with the Switch is so bulky. I went to use this to charge my switch while I play, which I always did with the brick. Normally my Switch is slow to lose battery and quick to charge, yet when I used this charger, instead of maintaining battery (which would have been acceptable in a pinch) or charging, my battery went from 80% to 74% in about 15 minutes. It NEVER has drained that fast before. I may change my rating after trying the cable in other situations (in this case, I plugged it into my PC to charge, so it's possible it's my PC not giving enough power - but even still, the cable should have maintained and not drained so fast) but for now, I am very disappointed that a $10 cable doesn't charge. ... show more

I had confidence in this charger because they have the exact same one and then Nintendo eShop but it actually makes the console have less battery charge until it just dies and charging it takes almost a whole day.

Sadly this is only being detected as supporting USB 2.0 transfer speeds, can't be used with an Oculus Quest 2 to play games over the Link option. Total waste of money.
