It works as stated but using it is really a pain. Taking it our of the pouch to get your car started or unlocking the doors. Putting it back in the pouch for protection. Over and over again. You can't appreciate how cumbersome it is to use until you try it. But ....................................... it does what is say and blocks the signal.

Yada yada – keeps thieves away – child’s play! If you haven’t studied what happens in an Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) attack (country-wide event) or a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) world-wide event originating from our Sun, you’re living in denial! You need to do some homework and start by getting these protective covers for your auto keys with embedded electronic chips. No fear-mongering – just scientific facts in an increasingly dangerous world. Look up EMP Vehicle Protection subject matter and make your own choices now, because you’ll certainly have to try and keep living with the results of doing nothing. Weighing 1.15 ounces on my digital scale, and measuring 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches, it’s a tight fit and something that undoubtedly will irritate you until you get the message through your head that good security (and personal survival) takes some adult effort that’s oftentimes not fast, cheap, or easy. At time of writing, price point of approximately 5 bucks apiece is a great value. The protection these shielding devices afford (assuming you’ve taken other mandatory efforts to protect your vehicle from literally “dead where it sits” disabling EMPs) is incalculably valuable. Oh yeah, and if the world as we know it isn’t ending, at least the thieves won’t easily steal your car! Thanks for reading. I sincerely hope you’ve found my cautionary comments and photo helpful!

Love that my older key fob fits in this and I can keep it separate from all the other items in my purse and find it easily! This holder fits in the front zipper pocket on my current bag perfectly. Doesn't bulge and protects the older key fob. Will definitely help me not to lose it!
