I had to put this cat tree together by myself. While I was initially intimidated, once I pulled everything out of the securely packaged box (the parts were tightly packed in a plastic bag that was in a heavy, wax-coated box) and checked each piece off the list to make sure it was all there, I realized it wouldn't be that bad. Didn't even need any tools. They supply the necessary allen wrench. It took me roughly an hour to assemble with no problems. This thing is really tall. I had to leave out the next to last section at the top because it was going to hit my ceiling. I left out the one section and continued on with the very top, adjusting the rods as directed, now the very top is about 2 inches from the ceiling. It seems very sturdy, the package weighed over 35 lbs. It doesn't seem quite as stable as I'd have liked, but that could just be my floors (we just moved here, so I'm just not positive if it's the tree or the floor). But the cats have been all over it, jumping, running, and climbing - without knocking it over, so... that's a bonus! They love the little corner cubby and the hammocks, which they usually sleep in one together. One of them (I suspect Spartacus) tore one of the little fluffy balls off the sting in less than 72 hours. But they do have a spare in the box for just such occasions. They also include 2 spare carpeted "tubes", which is also nice... just in case. The desert cactus design is cute, in my opinion. Overall, it was definitely worth the price and I would purchase it again if I needed another one. Despite the ball (he's a pretty aggressive kitten in the playing world) I still give it 5 stars.

I didn't expect much out of this cat tree at all. It's cute but it seemed pretty flimsy as fault of that and it had pretty bad reviews on stability. I have three cats that tested this thing out instantly! First off it was super easy to build and the instructions were great and came with everything needed. I was unable to use one shelf and one cactus arm as my ceiling is only about 82" but this cat tree was able to function great without its top shelf as we just threw the top branch down and took out the middle one. it has a rubber base on the piece that connects to the ceiling to give it anti-slip properties. A little catnip and all three of my cats were able to enjoy the levels at the same time without the tree wavering at all (this is with it in the middle of the room and no wall mounts). By biggest boy is well over 10lbs.. probably just shy of the max weight, 20lbs. This tree didn't budge much at all with all THREE of them on it at once! Yes they jumped and rolled around all over it too.. figured to put it to the test! It is now propped up against a wall so it doesn't do a little wobble (cats couldn't care either way) and it's exactly what i wanted! functional AND cute!

I like this tree. Seems to be a decent value. It was both easier and harder to assemble than ikea stuff. It wasn’t as fiddly as ikea directions and I put it together by myself with just the included Alan wrench and a chair. If my cats had not been ‘helping’ it would have gone much more quickly but they were having a title bout in the middle of my workspace. It didn’t have to take 4 hours. I put it together incorrectly twice because my beasts were a distraction constantly. All the pieces were there when I opened the box. The box is a bit heavy not terrible I opted to build partially then carry it to my basement in pieces rather than try the entire box at once. When you get close the end of the build, be careful not to mix up pieces M and W they’re very similar. If you have lower than average ceilings it might be an issue. I just barely got mine to work in my basement. If you look at my pics you’ll see that there are two wing nuts on a long bolt at the final stage of the build. you can use short pieces instead of the ones pictured but you’ll be twisting those long bolts forever to make them short enough to fit. You might want to put a flattened cardboard box on the floor to build the tree on then remove it when you’re ready for the last step as getting things together near the ceiling is a bit tricky. Getting a few mm of extra space can be helpful. The wings of the wing nuts get caught on each other if they get too close which is can be a pain but if you persist you’ll figure it out. The fatter of my two cats is too big for the baskets at 12 lbs. they’re best up to about 8 lbs in my estimation. The hammock at the bottom accommodates a bigger cat. MY 6 month old kitty could not contain himself as I built and he was a giant nuisance. I suggest building without young cats in the room if possible. Now that it’s built both my cats are very excited and have been checking out the whole thing. My picky scratcher found a spot he likes immediately and started using it. The other headed right for a basket and curled up. Luckily all the bits on mine were stitched and stapled properly. Everything was secure and when it was complete it was sturdy. I’m Not worried it will fall over. It’s on a bare laminate floor. I think it looks very nice and I’m pretty pleased with it.

My cats love this tower. When me having a small house it saves me space for sure. I have a one year old cat that loves to climb and his favorite spot is at the top. I do suggest moving the platforms around so the cats can jump down safely. My 11 year old cat jumped from the tower to the couch and scared me. It is very sturdy for me, I didn't have to use the wall bracket it came with but I can see if people have tall ceilings needing it. It does wobble a little bit but not enough for me to worry about it breaking or damaging anything. My cats use the scratching sections on this more than any other tower I've bought so I don't have so many cardboard boxes around now

It is really nice and sturdy cat tree! I need another floor to ceiling cat tree for my cats because my wall is too hollow. This tree is fit perfectly for my cats to jump up and down from the tree to my closet. Easy to assemble. I am 5’3” woman and took me less than hour to build this one.
