Im 5'1 roughly 145-150 lbs . I have had multiple back surgeries within the recent years , a car accident, and recently slipped the disc again. Fair to say my back is "busted" , for lack of better word choice. Going from being an athlete and working out consistantly to my recent back issues, even took a toll on me mentally. After re-injuring my lower back recently I was starting to loose hope and I just refuse to have a 3rd back surgery. I initially purchased a posture corrector that also offered lower lumbar support. I was excited about the produt, however it would not stay in place around the lumbar area and actually caused more pain over time. Of course it was returned , which led me here. I saw the initial video of the young man with Scoliosis . So I decided to take a chance. This thing arrived the next day even when ordering it around 10:45pm. I have had it on all day for the most part because I sit down for work as well, I am currently in school so I sit down for my studies. The brace size I chose is medium as I'm a 32 to 33 waist. This is the perfect size and the perfect support. My mobility just walking around the house is even improved with this brace on. The inner braces that provide support to your mid to lower lumbar area are in the perfect place and have a slight bend, which conforms to the natural arch in the small of your back. This adds comfort and support. This brace also has two outside adjustable straps, that when pulled tightens around your waist. It feels like a comfort hug while remainging flexible and alow breathability. The straps expands with your body on a huge inhale. For those that might care about such things it actually conceals the mid section. So kinda acts as a girdle in a sense and is hidden pretty well under a shirt. Cant really tell that it is on. I know I have typed a lot. Words just can't describe the relief and joy that I'm in right now. This product works wonders and if you have had any type of back issues and need support .     • Genius Design - So Helpful - Love this product!
Ok Disclaimer: I just got this brace yesterday. That said: I have tried many braces over the years. Some stay with me for one reason or another, some drop away, velcro too stiff, not enough support or too tight, etc. I am a very tough customer to please. This brace felt great - right away. I bought this brace to stabilize several discs and to dial back and leg pain. Within moments of putting it on, I got a sense that something was different. I felt supported but not suffocated. The support hits me in just the right areas, tighter at the lower end, closer to hips, looser near the top near my ribs. My posture improved nicely. I can adjust the brace depending on where I feel I need support most. Instantly walking was straighter, and I could breathe easily. Wearing it, I felt comfortable with no urge to rip it off minutes later! Walking is one of the best things I can do for my condition so... anything that helps me walk better helps my body heal. I had a great walk yesterday! My walking pattern changed. My pain was gone or quite diminished, my legs were straight ahead of me, effortlessly going one after the other, not limping or compensating for any misalignments. I freely walked with the gait of a normal person! Later some pain returned and again, using the brace, my walking improved - the pain was now just a bit of a complaint, not a game changer. This belt seemed to realign my body. Wearing it for just a little while I felt better overall, and I can't say that for most braces. Whoever designed this brace either had me in mind, (I am small and light in frame) - or knows a lot about ergodynamics and the human body. (I'm guessing that latter.) Brilliant. This is the best support I've worn so far. A solid 4 out of 5, there's always room for improvement. I wish the front was as wide as the back. But it is still wider in the front than the back side of all my other supports. Other supports always have the problem of being too narrow and the just dig into my stomach, or slide up the back making them useless. Comfort wise, there are no gaps along the sides like others which causes pinching and discomfort. I can wear it on bare skin and not have any issues, which is nice. Make sure to measure your stomach at the belly button, not at the waste. Those complaining about it not fitting did not read the instructions on the product listing. ... show more

The velcro is a super low pile and only like a inch wide, strip by three inches. SUPER ANNOYING, otherwise when it does stay on, it is the best back brace i have found.

Velcro belt attachment became unglued after a couple of hours of wear. Poor quality, for years I have worn back braces, most of them get worn out after a few years of wear. Never seen one that has fallen apart in the first day.
