The media could not be loaded. I searched for days for a cat tree for our new kittens. At the time I ordered this one there were no reviews to base my decision on. I chose this one based of the split base, which I thought might make it a bit more stable. The total base size is 22.25 inches by 19 inches. Many of the others I looked at at the same price point had smaller bases and complaints of them not being very stable. The materials used are very solid and strong. Included with the tree is a wall anchor, if you are so inclined to attach it. At this point it seems stable enough. I do have an older large cat that when he jumped down from the top pedestal, it did cause the tree to wobble a bit, but not enough to tip. The tree came on time, packaged nicely with well labeled parts, and instructions. My only negative is some of the holes were a bit difficult to align and having two people to put it together made it easier. I would highly recommend you give it a try. I got this because of the price and for the space I had and considering a lot of reviewers had 10-15 lbs cats I thought my Maine Coon Mix could use some of this but boy was I wrong. He is part Maine Coon and 18 pounds, not fat but big. I don't know how any cat other than a kitten could comfortably use this. The box was almost the sizeof him and I started putting it together and he came by and he was way longer than the thing. It's ok for price and quality but very flimsy and the carpeting was coming off just by putting it together. Measure your cat too hahahaha ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Our adult cats favourite tree ever, set up in a window of course. These two girls deserve their own roost, as they are the surrogate mommy cats for all our fosters. Our tabby is a small cat who can leap over four feet, and our Russian Blue weighs close to 15 pounds. The tree is stable, with lots of jumping and playing, but safest to put this in a corner. We put toys in the basket for them to pull out and play with. They’ve each chosen a condo for resting. They like the scratching posts, and scratching ladder. I like the plush dark grey fabric. I use a carpet brush and vaccuum hose once a week and it stays fluffy. I also spray cat pheromones after cleaning and rub a little catnip blend onto scratching posts. Easy to put together as parts fit accurately, all pieces are numbered, seller has included a good manual with tools and plenty of bolts. First sent with a few parts missing, which the seller promptly mailed. Ten stars for the sellers response. ... show more

I’ve got to give props to the company that made this cat tree because everything was labeled nicely, even the hammock, which didn’t really need to be labeled. The directions were easy to follow, too. My suggestion if you buy this tree is to do like I did & separate the screws first because they are the same length but not the same width and there’s 16 of both of them. Another suggestion would be to put all 4 posts in the huts first, then use the wrench to poke through the fur to find the hole (see the picture) then slide the screw in. This makes it a little easier to attach the screws. Another thing I like is the twine is stapled on the ends not just once or twice but several times all around the ends. That’s nice because not only does it secure the twine to the post but it helps keep it from unraveling if the end comes loose. All in all, a nicely made and attractive cat tree! ... show more
