I chose this particular chair solely on price. I went through and did a search, placed selected items in a list and compared features and prices and this was the least expensive chair with positive reviews, so I went with it. It was a little difficult to assemble, but nothing that would inhibit me from recommending it. They are ALL "a little difficult" to assemble. Since putting it together it has been rock solid. I am 6' and around 270 lbs. and have not had a single complaint. It is as good an office chair as I have ever sat in. If you are trying to make an office chair decision that trades off some in "quality" to gain "afforability", this is the chair to go ahead and pull the trigger on.     • Very nice chair that rivals more expensive chairs.
This is my computer desk chair that I purchased to replace a wooden kitchen chair used at the desk and a non height adjustable rollable chair with fixed arms. The former was uncomfortable after a 1/2 hour or so. The latter sat too low to view the laptop screen comfortably and the arms were too high to sit close enough for typing comfort. After easily assembly following the clear instructions I sat down on this new chair too a perfectly comfortable experience and have no regrets in my purchase. A groan noise from the spring mechanism when leaning back is the only minor negative (although "Karen" may not accept this). There is a tiny bit of frame flex (I am 278 pounds) that was not noticeable on the Big and Tall $500 chair provided at work by my manager at Boston VW dealership pre retirement. Unlike other desk chairs, this chair is stable when moving on the carpet. I have never felt like I was going to fall over backwards when reclining nor has the chair slipped out from under me when leaning or rolling backwards and forward. The textured seating material and the seat cushion are comfortable and show no signs of wear so far. In conclusion this home desk chair was definatley a bargain for it's quality. ... show more

I am old and slow so it took me 90 minutes to unbox and assemble the chair by myself. It is a good looking chair that matches the item photos. I use it in my home on padded low pile carpet so the small caster wheels don't roll very easily. I have to stand up to move the chair. I may get some of the roller blade replacement casters sometime later. Upholstery is seems good. Chair is well made and assembly instructions are easy to follow. I am an overweight senior woman and fit in the chair fine. This chair would be too small for a tall man or any obese person; the arms are too close together. Seat height adjusts easily. The tilt mechanism is stiff at first but does loosen up. The biggest con is the seat padding. it was good the first day, but after using it for about five days, the seat mashes flat so you are sitting on a hard plank. I kept the loose cushion I used in my old chair and am using it again in this one. I can't really complain b/c I can't afford a high quality desk chair and this one is decent quality. ... show more

Chair was easy to put together. Sits at just the right height for my desk. The adjustable arms are convenient as I can easily slide the chair under my desk. The color is a nice grey. I like that it has a slight pivot when i lean back. The only negative thing I can say is that if you sit for long periods of time (like I do since I work from home) while you're wearing shorts, you get lines on the back of your legs from the fabric of the seat. The media could not be loaded. I'm very impressed with this chair. It's very comfortable and well built. I'm a big guy (6 ft. and 250lbs) and this chair seems to fit me well. I love the mesh back with lumbar support and the movable armrests. I like to sit high above my desk which has a middle drawer and with my old chair the arms always interfered with the opening of that drawer. This new chair allows me to open the same drawer with ease. Just lift the armrests and the drawer is easy to open without me moving. ... show more

My 17 year old put it together. Sturdy and big enough to hold a 6 foot 240 lb male. Uses it for work at his desk and as his gaming chair. Good for his posture too. Not hunching over as in some other gaming chairs.

Easy to assemble (took maybe 15 minutes) Incredibly comfortable. Back support feels great. I almost bought one of those more expensive “gamer chairs” that go for $100-200, but the reviews were better for this chair and I see why. I’ve already sent the link for this chair to other people.
