Like many other reviews said, mine also came rusted. It's not super noticeable but when I spend my hard earned money on a new item I expect it to arrive in perfect condition. That is the only reason I'm giving this 3 stars. If it would have arrived without rust I'd give it 10 stars. My French bulldog is my quarantine puppy and naturally as result has separation anxiety. He has escaped and broken any other kennel/crate. He has always gone to any measure to escape a kennel, even hurting himself being scratched by one of the metal bars he broke as he pushed against while climbing out of the broken kennel. He will also have accidents once he escapes. This keeps him contained and it helps ease his anxiety. I think he finally views this kennel as his safe space when we aren't home. We've had for over a month now. It was easy to put together with two people. It would be more difficult with only one person. I love that he is safe and I don't have to clean his accidents on the daily or worry about what he could have possibly ruined by urinating on it. ... show more

Loved everything about this cage EXCEPT the wheels and it was the #1 reason why I bought it too. My dog blew out his ACL and has to be confined to a cage for 8 solid weeks. He is highly attached to me so I needed to roll him around the house so he wouldn’t freak out if not with me. When I’m not next to him he howls nonstop. I have nice hard wood floors and the wheels make black rubber marks on the floors. I can rub it off but a pain and a lot of work. The wheels did not spin correctly. They have all 4 wheels spinning when only the front two should be. Like a flat bed cart would ride like at Home Depot where the other two wheels are normal ones. So to rectify the problem, I always had to turn the wheels in the direction I wanted by hand before I moved the cage. Also, I had to put a thick piece of carpeting down with a blanket on top so my dog was laying a flat comfortable surface. I did not want him lying on a surface that was grid cage, or stand and sit on. That is just inhuman. Not good for their paws, etc. I suspect it’s so they can potty in there and it drops down into the lower pan below. I did like the open top so he could fully stand up at ease and not feel so secluded and could sit and not hit his head. This was the least expensive one and overall I would buy this one again if needed bc of the price. ... show more

The bottom part of my crate was damaged. There is a bend on the part where the dog sits and its causes a shift every my dog moves. I have a English Bulldog (6 months old - 45 pounds) Is there any way possible to get a replacement for that part? Other than that, I'm pleased with the product

    • Could use a little update on latches

Love the kennel, but the latches on it are very flimsy and my dog was able to break out if it within an hour. We frame up with a solution for it and it works fantastic!!! Highly recommend for dogs with high separation anxiety and darn Houdini’s 🤣

I purchased this kennel for our new Lab/leopard hound puppy. Putting it together was very easy. I wanted a good sturdy cage that I knew our puppy could both grow into and not break out of. Really liked the fact that the bottom of the kennel is raised adequately above the tray so if the puppy does have an accident, he wont be forced to lay in it. My only complaint is the latches aren't super sturdy. They wobble/rattle so a persistent dog could potentially get loose. We had one incident where the top latch was not completely latched and our puppy got out when we weren't home. Mostly our fault, but I still feel like a sturdier latch would be beneficial.
