So far so good it took only 10 minutes to set up completely and everything works great air flow is excellent I especially appreciate the air flow control unit that allows as much as you like. The unit full blast is actually too strong for my 2000 gallon koi pond I had to turn it down.

This pump is strong and mighty. I have it outside in my pond. I only have 3 air stones connected. I have it on the lowest setting and it serves it purpose. If I turn it half ways it make waves in my pond. Very strong.

This thing is very quiet, I mean VERY QUIET. Replaced a unit that made a lot of noise and stopped working after about a year. I have been very impressed with its quietness and the amount of air it distributes. The adjustment knob does not change the airflow dramatically and I can’t speak on its durability yet but it seems very solidly made. For the money it is a very very sound option. Comes with everything you need to get it up and running quickly.

Didn't give it 5 stars because I've only owned it for 2 weeks and don't know how long it will last although build quality seems to be fairly substantial. Currently running two hoses on 1/3 power at 5.5 ft depth and the thing really puts out some serious effervescence! Should not have any problem keeping an air hole open for the Koi this winter. I keep it in a tupperware container with a loose lid protected from rain and I don't hear it running unless I'm specifically listening for it. If it does the job this winter and lasts even just a couple of years it will have been well worth the money.

I bought this in December and it worked great until May. As soon as the outside temperature was over 80 it stopped pumping air and now just makes a buzzing noise.
