This little fish tank scrubber works really well on glass, and the magnets are super strong however you must be careful when using this in a tank that has sand substrate because if sand gets under the cleaning portion of this scrubber it will scratch the glass because of the strength of the magnets so be sure that the scrubber itself is very clean before using it do not allow sand to get under it, otherwise it works fantastic.

I have a 1 gallon shrimp tank, and the size of this is just perfect. I leave it in the tank and i like that it's black and tucks well out of the way in the tank. Does a great job getting the hard algae that the shrimp won't eat.

These will be perfect for how I will use of them. So thumbs up. I would not suggest these as a regular maintenance algae removal tool. Not much jostling and the mags will disconnect. The inside mag does not float. Have a retrieval tool handy and take care that it doesn't fall behind or into your aquascape.

Works great, cleans wonderfully. I do wish it floated, though. When one of the kids pulls the outside one off, the inside one just plops to the bottom of the tank. I have some very powerful neodymium magnets that I can usually use to attract it back to the glass, though. Altogether, I'm please with it.
