The various white shades produced are helpful and attractive. The strip is bright enough to use as a primary or accent light source. Take care when snaking the light through the supplied corners. If the tape backing separates from the strip you will not be able to get it through the corner until you put them back together.

I’ve been researching the best led strip lights and gosh there are a lot of pros and cons on all of them. I learned of COB lighting, and from there leaned of CCT lighting and saw there were RGB strips available, however, I was only looking for white. But I didn’t know what temperature would work best. When I saw tunable white strips available, I knew these would be perfect, however, these came out not too long before I ordered it and components are not readily available. They eventually will be, as advised by the company. I contacted their customer service who were quick to provide an update, which I really appreciate. These lights really are tunable, from warm orange-gold hue to blue tinged white. They are bright and dimmable. However, the dimming on the remote is a little irritating where the button seems to jump from medium brightness to ultra low, nothing in between, like medium low. The adhesive is strong, but don’t know how long it will hold up. It doesn’t get very hot, like some online reviewers claim, but that may be because I have good airflow where I installed it. If you get any separate jump cables and connectors, be aware the gauge of wire, since they are thinner. I plan to order more so I can outfit another shelf with them.

The media could not be loaded. When I went to install these lights, I noticed that they weren't neatly wound on the roll, but figured it wasn't a problem. I ran two 8ft. long strips directly off the roll where I adhered them to an angled aluminum channel. I used 3 wire connectors to bridge the two strips and plugged them in to find that 3/.4 of the installed strips didn't work. Closer inspection shows that at every junction where the lights are soldered, the solder joints are huge and fragile. Several of the solder points were bad. Not only that but the stirp appeared to be squeezed and overheaded at the joints. Even after fixing the joints, several sections were bad.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been through a lot of light strips over the years and done many different projects with them and these COB light strips by PAUTIX are the best bang for your buck. Plus their customer service is fantastic, if for whatever reason you have issues with your lights, they will make things right very quickly.

Quite happy with this. 1. I mounted mine on "ceiling grid molding" which allows for nice diffusion by bouncing the light off the ceiling. See the photo. 2. Strip is flexible and I did not need any connectors to turn the corners. 3. There is a visible voltage drop as you go along the strip, but this is just a limitation of LED strip tech as far as I know. If you were using RGBs and wanted to actually look at the lights, maybe that matters. But if just just want to create diffused lighting it doesn't matter. 4. There is some relatively fragile soldering every 2 feet or so along the strip. As long as you stick it where you want correctly the first time, it's no issue. If you need to peel it off, there is some risk of damage. 5. They sell a connector kit. It took me some time to figure out how to use them best, but once you do, the connectors work great. 6. I got this because the adjustable color temperatures allow me to simulate the sun throughout the day and move closer to true circadian lighting. 7. This strip is twice as long as another brand I tested. Great. Great job. PAUTIX.

Very happy with these LEDs. They are very easy to setup and have a great power supply and controller. You can easily brighten and dim them with either an app or a controller that it comes with. Overall, great product and great customer support.

I recently attempted to use the LED Strip Light White CCT Tunable to illuminate the underside of my microwave, but unfortunately, it failed to stick securely in place. Despite the promising features and lighting options, the adhesive on these strips proved inadequate for this specific application. I tried cleaning the surface thoroughly and even applied additional adhesives, but they continued to peel off, making it frustrating to maintain the desired lighting setup. While the light quality and tunable color temperature are great, if you intend to use these strips in a high-heat or vertical application like under a microwave, be prepared for potential adhesion challenges.
