Other Reviewers have described the functionality of this light tape. I won't repeat those remarks here (those Reviewers have provided excellent details). One design matter I would recommend the manufacturers change: I have applied my light tape around some kitchen shelving. There is some distance from where the lights are to where the outlet is. It would be better if I didn't have to have the light tape so close to the outlet. I now there are several optional items that can be added to these lights but that can drive up cost. There is no reason why the cord that runs from the power source to the light tape simply couldn't be longer. Now - the missing thing: I do not see anywhere on the Seller's page or on the product box that this fixture is Underwriter's Lab approved. Given the newness of the technology and what can only be described as the tenuous links that can be made in the light tape, I'd feel much better if the device were UL approved.

Nice adjustable LED strip with a power supply, remote control and WiFi dimmer all included. This light strip produces very good amount of light that is highly tunable & if desired it can also be controlled by Amazon Alexa. Installation was a breeze, the strip comes with adhesive backing, so sticking them up took no time at all. The control box comes with adhesive on the back as well, so it could be mounted - we chose to install these around the bed and will be using the remote or Alexa to control them. For the price, it would be great if they had multi colored lights but overall, they are a good quality.

First off, installation was a breeze. The strips are super flexible and easy to cut to size, which was perfect for fitting around the curves of my cabinets. They come with adhesive backing, so sticking them up took no time at all. But the real magic happens when you turn them on. Unlike those old-fashioned LED strips with individual bulbs, these COB lights emit a smooth, continuous light. It's like having a built-in dimmer because you can adjust the color temperature from a warm 2700K to a bright 6500K. I love that I can set a warm, relaxing glow for evening meals, and then crank up the brightness for chopping veggies in the morning. The best part? These lights work with my smart home system! This is an EXCELLENT LIGHT with many good features that make it versatile and highly usable in my house. It comes complete with a power supply, controller, & remote. Nothing else is required. It is dim able & it also is tum able from a warm 2,700 K all the way up to a brilliant white 6,500 K color temperature. (That last thing is not usually available in similar light strips.) It produces very good lighting that is highly customizable & if desired it can also be controlled by Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant but I have no need for them & have not tested those features. If you need a strip light this would be a good choice in my opinion, not only for the versatility but from a price point too as it is a full 20 feet long & comes complete with the power supply & controller and remote unit.
