Get these curtains! They are absolutely worth it!! They're not super heavy like some velvets, so I'd call these velour which is still a great deal for the price!- however they are stunning, very well made, and best of all (for me) ... zero chemical or bad smells right out of the bag!! I love that! It's a huge concern of mine when ordering things online because so many products stink of harmful chemicals or even mold at times. These were so wonderful and fresh- like they were right out of a Bed Bath & Beyond circa 1999 😊. They weren't even creased or yucky looking when unfolded. I got the olive green, but I'll probably get others for other rooms too.

I wish I could give 10 stars. A lot of sellers claim their curtains are black-out, but they really aren't. These truly ARE. Picture is of motorhome window. These curtains are the left half compared to the original curtains on the right half that are letting light through. I got these in purple (120"). Beautiful color. They are stunning. They are heavy. They are more softer and silkier than I would expect from a velvet. Velvet is usually matte and a bit on the stiff side. This fabric has a beautiful sheen and the hand of the fabric has an incredible drape. They are slippery which is something velvet is not. There are wrinkles (to be expected). I have not tried to steam them out yet. Will update review when I know more. I got these to make replacement curtains for our motorhome so their being black out was important. They were also cheaper than buying same fabric "by the yard". If I ever have to make a period or fantasy costume, I would not hesitate to get these again for whatever project calls for this much fabric.

These curtains are of nice quality and the color depicted on line was spot on. They do feel soft and hang well. The only reason I gave them a 4 is that they were a bit thinner than I think they should be for light reducing. If I could give a 4.5 I would. However, these are in a cabin guest room and several folks have commented on loving the glow of the room when the curtains are closed and the sun is shining through. So if you want these to truly reduce light significantly they may not be for you but they definitely block heat and add ambiance to a space. I would still buy them again.
